Namadi Nest

This place was great with an amazing view. The room was comfortable with warm sheets. The owner was very helpful. Very reasonable price as well.

Be careful with this one! We booked an other accommodation through Hostelworld and there was a double booking so the owner arranged us a stay in Namadi instead. The owner seemed nice and he gave me a ride to the pharmacy while I was staying there because I was sick and needed a medicine.

On the morning I was leaving I had breakfast at the restaurant upstairs and left my backpack at the reception. I had 40000 rupees in the backpack that got stolen while I was having my breakfast. I noticed that the money was gone at the train station and called the owner. He said they didn’t take it and asked me why I left money at the backpack the first place. The only time someone could have taken the money was at the reception.

Also we had to pay the same amount for this room as we would have with the original booking that had a bigger apartment with balcony so that was a bit of a let down. Also in the original booking we had free pickup from the train station and this one we had to pay without first agreeing to it.
The room was basic with a nice view. Quite cold in the room. The bathroom had a good hot shower which was nice.

Zowel op de kamer als in de algemene ruimte was de ruimte enorm. Het uitzicht was prachtig en de WiFi in de algemene ruimte super goed. De locatie is op loopafstand van het centrum en geen power cuts.

Very clean and comfortable rooms with expansive views. The shower had decent pressure which was a welcome change Namadi was a great host and very helpful taking us around the town and helping us get train tickets to Ella as well. Would highly recommend.

A cozy place for you to spend the freezing nights. The service is super friendly at a very reasonable rate.

Clean Room and bathroom, nice breakfast BUT the host is not very honest. We said we we're a family of 5 and he booked the biggest room he had with only 1 simple Bed and 1 double Bed, so for 3 persons.when we arrived after 8h bus he said we can manage or we can leave. Or we can buy a second Room and of course we double the price. Not very fair! We staid and arranged A bed for our little one with blankets. But only one night is of course enough.
Our worst experience in Sri Lanka!

Great hotel with great views. The owner is super friendly as well. Highly recommended! We also did an amazing hike in the tea plantation with a private guide named Gihan (you can ask for him), it was one our best experience.

Great view from the property. The owner was so kind and knowledgeable on Sri Lankan history. Another great feature will be the fireplace. Loved my stay.

Amazing view from the balcony. Staff was super friendly. Transparent pricing with no hidden agendas.
The rooms were extra clean and tidy. The personal balcony and large windows contributed to the view of the mountains and wild life (birds). The property is just 1.5km from the city.

Unbelievable cheap. Newly build. High class rooms. Can get cold at night, down to 15 degrees and colder. Spectacular view over the mountains. Need tuktuk to go to the city or walk over 30min.
