Punsisi Resort - Delhousie Adamspeak

We have stayed over in this hotel quite a few times, but this time the customer service was extremely dissapointing. This time we got a room that can accomodate 7 ppl but there were no square pin power outlets in the room and only round pin ones. (which, i might add, is illegal in Sri Lanka.) None of us were able to charge our phones because of that. We asked owner more than a few times for an extention but we never got one, even to the time we left. Quite dissapointed. If this is how the customer service is, we cannot recommend this place.

350 steps to the Deluxe room is enough, they are more like small studios. The view is very nice. It is best to climb Adam's Peak at night about 2-3 hours before dawn (that is about an hour before sunrise), during the day it can take up to 8 hours in the season. I recommend that you specifically negotiate breakfast and dinner upon arrival, or in advance for the buffet, which is very good, the served version is quite weak, but if you hear about it, they will bring a step up.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a hotel near Adam's Peak and was pleasantly surprised by the experience. From the moment I entered, my first impression was quickly overturned as I discovered a hidden gem tucked away in the scenic surroundings.

One of the standout features of this hotel is the availability of adjacent land as a private car park for guests. This convenience was a major plus, especially when traveling to popular destinations like Adam's Peak. Knowing that we had a secure parking space added to the overall peace of mind during our stay.it was not just the physical aspects that made our experience exceptional. The hotel staff played a crucial role in ensuring our stay was memorable. They were attentive, friendly, and genuinely helpful. From providing useful local tips to accommodating our requests, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. Their warm hospitality truly enhanced our overall experience.

I cannot recommend this hotel near Adam's Peak enough. It far surpassed my initial impressions and turned out to be a hidden gem. With clean and well-furnished rooms, a private car park, and an incredibly helpful staff, our stay was nothing short of delightful. Whether you're visiting Adam's Peak or exploring the surrounding area, this hotel is definitely worth considering. I am grateful for the wonderful experience and would gladly return in the future.

Good place to stay for Sri Pada hike. Clean large rooms. Helpful staff. Good food. I got a room far away from the entrance. It is an another hike to the room

Service staff was extremely polite, the lunch very tasty and the view from our room to the Adams Peak was absolutely beautiful, - when you survived the 345 steps uphill to the door of the apartement. We would like to return in dry season and perhaps to climb on Adam Peak, - although I am physically fit but on the other hand I am 76 years old now? !

Fantastic host, a very knowledgeable staff and was really very friendly.if anyone loves the nature, definitely be there. The food here is tasty and fresh. The rooms were brand new and it was clean. Also they provide you flashlights to the climb and as well as yummy sandwiches. I highly recommend you this place I will definitely be there again. Amazing place to stay

One of the best choices we made to choose this hotel for a overnight stay, amazing view, lovely food, and the staff was so friendly and helpful, explained everything what we wanted to take with us to our climb, and definitely we will go back.

The room was clean but it was a sauna cause it doesn't have air condition. To the room there are many steps. No wi fi, just on the overpriced restorant on the roof, which is also dirty with a bunch of flies flying around. The room itself is also overpriced. But that is nothing comparing to the staff. Such arogance and unfriendly behaviour is no way to treat a guest, expecially when trying to get more money. AVOID
