Royal Mount Hotel & Restaurant

Very poor value for money (I have been traveling in the region for 10 days)
Far from the city center and above all NO BREAKFAST!

The staff was the nicest staff I have ever encountered at a hotel, specially Shifan and his brother. They were always friendly and polite. They also were able to recommend places to get any type of meal that we needed as well. They also prepared bbq for us. Would recommend this hotel for friends and family. Spacious rooms and clean facilities. 10/10 always recommend specially for family stay.

It's a nice place to stay. Its very closed to the town and owner and staffs are very friendly n kind.

Awesome experience in this old english royal style hotel. View is superb and staff borrowed us some warm jackets. All in walking distance and calm atmosphere for good sleep.

What a cool place! Literally short and sweet! The staff is very humble and friendly. Also the price is very reasonable for what you get. Highly recommended for the budget travellers who are willing to have a home like stay.

One of the best Place in Nuwaraeliya within the same segment. Manager Shifan’s hospitality is great and made our stay pleasant, highly recommended

The place is far from a hotel, even a hustle. I don't know why people give them this rank, which is misleading. The place was really cold and there was no heater!

The toilet and shower were disturbing. 15 liters of warm water and then you should have waited for 15 minutes naked in the cold so you can continue washing.

The room walls were dirty, and our room smelled so bad, sheets were smelled like someone peed on them.

I think the price doesn't worth all this, maybe a few dollars more give you a much better experience.

Wow this place is really nice and affordable. The service is great. You can visit in weekdays to get a really good discount. Would recommend anyone who is looking to visit nuwara Eliya on a tight budget.

Hi Royal mount was excellent. Good rooms.good staff and kind pepole. Resnobale prices. You have to wallk 10 minute in the lake. Breakfast was amazing tasty. Food.like to booking the hoteal royal mount.amazing relx small garden view.

I loved this place the rooms are excellent and it isnt expensive. Its still clean and the reception is realy friendly.

The best place to stay in nuwara Eliya in my opinion. I've been to nuwara eliya more than 5 to 6 times and this is the best place I've been in.room service is excellent.great view, great prices etc.

I love the guys working here but.

1) cleanliness can be improved (towels and stuff)
2) the heater doesn't work at times and this is Nuwara Eliya (cold weather). Once it malfunctioned, I had to bath in cold water in the the cold toilet. They are nice and allow me to change into a room with a longer hot water duration one (but still it doesn't run hot water for a long time like normal hotel).
3) the infrastructure is really old and in need of serious refurbishment

The only plus point is the staff (Shiff and guys) are really nice and accomodating.

Nice n beautiful place. Friendly staff. Stayed here for one night with my family. Safe environment. Will surely go there again.
