Siumi Rest

Clean and great location, just 10 minutes walk to Adams peak. The owner was friendly and offered us Towels and soap.

The service was a shame.they asked us to checkout before we could rest.

Average place but cheap. Lights in rooms are very uncomfortable and you should bargain for food and even for your driver's accommodation, if applicable.

Top expensive for the value. Good place to Stay but anyway too much money for what you get.

We stayed here for a night before climbing Adam's Peak. The room was well furnished, very clean and the beds more than comfortable. The bathroom was equiped with a shower and was very clean as well. Everything worked without any problem and after a long time we finalyl had warm water again! This is especially helpful if the weather isn't exactly at its best and you're soaked by the pouring rain! All time we were there the wifi worked for all of us perfectly fine.
If you get hungry there's a restaurant downstairs as well. The yummy authentic Sri Lankan food is freshly prepared by the owner and his family. If you have special wishes just tell them and they'll be more than happy to prepare you your food.
They were also very helpful by arranging us cheap transport back to Hatton. By cheap I'm not talking about tourist-cheap, but the same price locals pay! That doesn't happen very often in Sri Lanka, very nice people!
Unfortunately I forgot my camera in the room and just realized it on the train to Kandy. When I called them, the owner took matters into his own hands and made sure I got it back. That took him almost a full day to track down the camera, but in the end I was happily reunited with my camera! Thank you so much again!
Stay here and you'll be in kind hands! Definitely the best value for money choice at the base of Adam's Peak where everything can get pricey.
