Tea Hills Bungalow and Restaurant

Fantastic food. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. We stopped here for lunch and it was excellent. My girlfriend and I had the Kottu and the sweet pancake with cane sugar - both were delicious.

For anyone looking for a place to stop for lunch near Hatton, it’s worth making your way here.

The staff were also extremely kind and very friendly and the lunch itself reasonably priced.

It also has a beautiful view.

We loved it.

Clean rooms, friendly staff and most importantly, tasty foods. Kirosha and Thayaparan did a great job to make our stay more comfortable. Food was amazing and chef did a wonderful job, so we decided to extend our stay from one day to three days.

A place with views of tea plantations, with caring and kind people who work there. The chefs know how to cook deliciously, I especially liked the fish. The house is clean and with a lot of quality, comfortable furniture. I believe that in all of Sri Lanka, the most caring people work here, who make you feel as comfortable as at home. This is a great hotel with a restaurant in Hatton area. It is very well maintained and very clean. The food was very delicious and they were offered upon our request. The staff was very friendly. We also met a nice friendly dog named Coco at this place. If you want to stay comfortably in Hatton area with good food and a good location, this hotel is highly recommended.

Unexpectedly satisfying ambience, especially the room layout, furniture & bathrooms were quite impressive.

Had a delightful experience at Tea Hills bungalow. This place is located conveniently to all important amenities and can be considered as my most favourite experience in hotels near Hatton city.

The staff is very friendly and delightful. Ms. Kiroshja is a wonderful host. The cutlery, rooms and facilities are kept in top tier condition. They make a delicious meal upon request and the charges are very very reasonable! The place has a dog who is the cutest dog and the place is filled with artifacts, cool gadgets and even a two pianos. There is a BBQ joint and the views are super!

Our stay at the Tea Hills was wonderful! The Room was clean and very big, in the bed we felt like King & Queen. The Lunch and breakfast was very Tasty and completely freshly cooked. The whole staff was very lovely and we did a nice Walk to the Mini waterfalls close to the Hotel.

Room were properly maintained and Resturant is clean and tidy. Staff was really corporative and helpful. Overall service is really in a good standard.

Super comfortable room with open area and nice view balcony and excellent customer service in front desk and also cant remember name that uncle who is help us to make the occupate the room at 3 am. We got the phone call at 2am and he answered the call they respond quickly ️

We were here in December 2022. It was the best not so commercial accommodation on island! Personal we’re all nice and the view on tea hills is amazing!

Our favorite accomodation on the whole island. We were on the Sri Lanka motorcycle trip and we came back to Hatton again to stay here.

Super friendly and helpful staff, perfect clean rooms with everything you need and equiped with massive wooden furniture. Beautiful view on tea plantation from windows and huge balcony.

Parking possible on property and they even let us park motorcycle under the roof in case of the sudden rain in the night.

PS: Next time we are borrowing that Himalayan parked in the lobby

Tea hills Bungalow is a splendid and a comfortable place to spend your vacation. The rooms were well arranged and clean along with the helpful and friendly staff. The rooms were spacious with all the facilities needed. The staff ensured us with all our necessities and were ready to serve us a wonderful service. The Bungalow is located on a hill with a spectacular and a great view. I recommend this as a fantastic place to stay for your holiday vacation.

I arrived here after one day bike drive under the rain and this place was an heaven. The staff (and Manager) was professionel and friendly, room and bathroom 5 stars clean with all you need (from kettle to a large number of multiplug). The restaurant offer fantastic dinner and breakfast You can see the owner put a lot of energy in this project. Will back again
