The sackville

We visited here a couple of days back. It's a great place to hangout with friends. The staff is also friendly. The place looks soo cool Loved the interior! It has a very cool vibe going on. Hoping to visit there again soon.

We were there at around 9 p.m. And wanted to have dinner. It could be that the chef has already left?
We ordered an appetizer (avocado with shrimp) that looked very different and much less than the photos.
We wanted to eat 2 salads, they first came without dressing and half of the toppings on the menu weren't on them. The service was very friendly and the salads were also exchanged. But unfortunately the second round was also very disappointing. For us the worst meal on our 1 month trip through Sri Lanka. Especially for the price.

Went there for dinner expecting a lot. Sadly the place was completely empty, so no atmosphere. Inexplicably they were playing loud soft rock, which really didn't seem to fit with them wanting to be a cool place.

Architecturally the structure is beautiful. You have wide open views and a cool airy feel. The staff are all polite and nice.

The only let down was the food. My burger was a strange mix with whole coriander seeds, so strong that I couldn't taste anything else. The bun was not toasted and the chips were processed frozen out of a packet. Wouldn't be a problem if it was a road side cafe charging LKR500 but their burger and chips were processed at LKR4500 plus tax, making it the most expensive burger I have seen so far in Sri Lanka. Even the Colombo five stars dummy charge this!

My partner's Caesar was pretty meh, and the roast pumpkin soup was sadly bland.

Style over substance comes to mind in this place. Please focus on the food and the rest will follow.

The restaurant is very beautiful with nice views. We went here on the last evening. We took the burger and panini’s and both were very delicious. The waiters were friendly and very helpfull. We had a great night!

Don't want to share a one star review, but I believe the place is closed. The area leading up to the sackville was deserted and in darkness around 630pm on Christmas day. Best check well in advance before going. Shame, it looks lovely from all the older pictures and reviews.

We had lunch here with the family and it was superb! Tasty food, given on time, and the staff were quite friendly. Kudos to the manager - Mr Nalendran for making sure everything was in order and checking on us! Would definitely recommend visiting again!

Nuwera Eliya needed a place like this, the Ambience, Food and Views ar just unseen in this Part of the Country.

Location and the atmosphere is nice. The band was bit too much on local hits and the food quantities could improve compared to prices. Cocktails had too much ice cubes or alcohol was really lacking.

Very very good extravagant experience. Very nice delicious food. Helpful and friendly staffs. A big thumbs up for the songs sung by a very humble musician. All in all just enjoyed every bit of the time I spent at sack ville. I 100% recommend this place for dinner.

The atmosphere is really nice and decent. If you are looking for a palce to have drink then this is a good choice. Staff is really nice and friendly. Foods and deverages are bit pricy.

It was a great place to visit if you visit the Nueara Eliya. My experience was so great since I visit the place today. The food & beverage was so delicious. Thanks goes to it's team.

One of the coolest place in Nuwaraeliya and foods also yummy. The other thing is more American atmosphere and games.

The overall experience was good. We had dinner here 20 peeps. We had ordered the food prior to arriving to the location. However, some food items were not delivered on time. The food was overall good. The selection was OK as well. The place is well heated and the atmosphere is good and comfortable.

This is the place you wanna be! Simply and amazing place in Nuwara Eliya. They literally have everything you are looking for an outing with your family or friends. A lovely bar, food, high tea, coffee's, Shisha, 8 ball pool, live music etc. The place has a luxurious and a classy feel, excellent atmosphere, superb interior design, incredible vibes. Manager & the staff are lovely, their customer service is excellent and so welcoming! Don't trust my words, go see for yourself! Wish there were more than 5 stars to rate this place. 5+ stars!

The Sackville is a special restaurant that we got to know from their Instagram page and thought of visiting on our latest trip to NuwaraEliya after quarantine. The Sackville is absolutely a wow looking place with its ambiance, the staff was very welcoming and friendly. We tried a bunch of food items from their new menu- Tom yam going, The Sackville beef burger, MD's favourite, Chicken Biriyani, baked cheese cake and a pizza
magarita and all thr food items we tried was absolutely tasty. We ordered coffee out of their extensive variety list after spending some time at the pool table and there were plenty of cozy and nice spots to take gram worthy pictures. The place is well adhered to all safety actions and we absolutely had a enjoyable time at The Sackville. It is a must try place if you visit NuwaraEliya!

The restaurant is a part of the golden ridge hotel and located just near to the main town. The architecture is really good and one can get a good view of the town from all tables. They serve a bunch of fast food items along with plenty of drinks. We tried the Veg pizza from the daily menu and it tasted really good. The pricing is slightly in the higher side but the ambience and service surely justifies it.
