, received a mail that could not get the room we booked.
The one we got was not good.
Bathroom had a broken bathtub, which was just lying at corner and didn't had enough space for bathing also.

One of the best places to stay in my opinion due to the service team always with an appetite to serve us and ensured our satisfaction at every possible step.

Food was completely Halal and safe!

Interior needs some upgrade Post Covid renovations should be addressed if the owners are keen to continue this place.

Overall we are very happy by takin the entire bungalow for 2 nights. Thank you team. Keep up

Wonderful hotel and very friendly staff. We escaped from the tiring heat of Pasikuda to the beautiful Nuwara Eliya. The choice fell on Unique Cottages. Rooms are clean, breakfast is delicious. Good location of the hotel. There were few guests, we upgraded the room to a suite for free and were allowed to delay check-out, as we were waiting for a taxi to the airport.

Great service, setup, fair rate and excellent location. We booked for one week stay and it was good time as group.

Rooms are very nice clean and cozy! Definitely recommend the place! Staff and manager are friendly and quick to respond! Close to nuwareliya town! Gotta a good deal at 6000Rs a night! Not much a view out the windows! Other than that amazing place enjoyed our stay!

Fabulous place and experience. Excellent service and best location where this hotel is situated. The staff are incredible and the building and location are beautiful! The food is excellent and the facilities are top notch too. 5minutes to Nuwara eliya town and the Gregory park.

Think twice before you book this property
when i was going to book their property they gave me two choices one room with balcony and the other one with jacuzzi, i wanted the jacuzzi room and i booked the room with an advance.we checked in to the a small room with small washroom which you can’t spread your hands and there were used soap with sand and hair nicely packed, first night were unable to use the jacuzzi after the next day morning were trying to use the jacuzzi.we filled the water and turned on the jacuzzi when i started jacuzzi lots of rubbish pumps into the water and we were unable to use jacuzzi i informed them but they were unable to gave me a proper solution.without jacuzzi it’s just useless for paying huge price for tiny little room you can get a big nice room for less price in another hotel. They call it unique cottage but i didn’t see any uniqueness.

Located conveniently near the city centre, Unique Cottages provides a very homely atmosphere further bolstered by the friendly staff. Rooms are limited so there is no rush at any time during your stay. We utilised two rooms, one had a Jacuzzi and the other had a balcony with a beautiful view. One can easily walk from here to the Victoria Park or Gregory Lake. There is also a trail that treks into the village above the Cottages and from there onto a mountain with a fantastic view. Best time to go here would be January to March since there is no fog or rain.

This hotel is not clean at all, even the washroom is super dirty. And the bedsheets were very dusty, I even got rash sleeping on it. We requested to change the bedsheet but they refused to change it. Even the staffs are very lazy. And food was 0/5. Never coming back. Waste of money

Very Friendly staff.calm and peaceful stay. Rooms were very spacious and clean. Facilities are good. Especially very good food.

The place is very close to city center, lake and Nanuoya railway station. Staff include Mr. Nishantha, two security personnel and other staff were very friendly and attended all the time about guests' requests. Recommend for families and couples.

Nice cosy place. Breakfast was ok. Great hit chocolate. Staff pleasant and willing to help. Wifi available in the rooms. Heaters also. Included, tv etc. Will visit again.

A true sample of excellent hospitality! Upon arrival we were welcomed by the staff and staff was extremely friendly and good service, the restaurant was flexible on timings and had yummy breakfast, perfect location very close to the racecourse and etc.very nice relaxed ambience. Rooms were spacious and clean. Gardens are a highlight. Speck thanks to Mr Mahdi for all the support given during our stay. We would definitely recommend this place to any one who would visit Nuwaraeliya! Thank you once again for making our stay memorable.

Hygiene levels are below basic expected standards. Linen is very poor and the dinning facilities are awful. The overall experience is very unsatisfactory. Rooms and bathroom facilities are a horrid.

Poor guide and driver acomodation dirty kitchen. One small room accomodate 8-10 drivers.previous day dishes and plates was remaining without cleaning untill the next day. No proper table for the drivers. So if any guest want to book this i would like to say if you care about your driver please dont book
