Villa Lemon Court

I visited Lemon Court villa yesterday and had an amazing experience. The uncle who was there was extremely helpful and skilled. The place was impressively clean, and the overall atmosphere was awesome. I highly recommend this villa.

It got a nice garden and a nice view from the garden. There are 2 sets of villas together. The front villa rooms are not spacious enough and one doesn’t have attached bathroom. They got a common kitchen area and tv lounge area. The back villa rooms are really spacious and all got attached bathrooms. But they get terribly cold at night as they are insulated properly. Tiled floor get really cold too. Non of the rooms got heaters.
The care taking uncle if helpful and will prepare food on request. You’ll need to supply the ingredients to cook.

Location can be accessed via Lady mccalum drive. Just 2km away from Nuwara Eliya main bus station and 3km from Gregory lake. Nice location.
The last 50meters of the ride is bit rough with damaged road.
Location can be recommended for family, business and vacation stay.

Our stay at Villa Lemon Court was an awesome homely stay. Hemachandra, the caretaker at the Villa treated us very well. He was very friendly, caring, and attentive. We stayed at the villa. Villa has three comfy bedrooms, a TV room, a living room, a kitchen, and two washrooms. It is perfect for a family. All the required facilities were there and the interior of the villa is very nice. The villa has a very nice well-maintained garden. A delicious breakfast in the garden in the cool breeze was the highlight of our stay.

They have very comfortable and spacious rooms with hot water. (8000lkr for double on 02/2022). Do not have room heaters. Have parking and can access the place with low ground clearance vehicles. Friendly staff. Food will be provided on request with extra charges. You need to make a pre reservation.

Its a very nice place. Nice and well maintained. Rooms are clean and spacious. Nice view of Nuwara Eliya town. Staff is very friendly and providing a super service. Highly Recomending.

A beautiful bungalow with a lovely garden, easy access to all the attractions in nuwara eliya, cosy, clean and comfortable. The 3 bed room section had enough and more space for a family stay or even there are 2 more individual accommodations available for those who are looking for privacy and comfort. We stayed for 2 nights had a great stay. Staff Hemachandra and Thusitha were great caring. Nothing was trouble for them taking care of us with 2 kids. Good food, WiFi, hot water. All available. Hassle free booking. We sure will be back. Thank you!

Beautiful Villa located conveniently close to the Town. There are many roads that lead to the property, best to go to the Nuwara Eliya Cargills and take the road next to Cargills (Hill Street) and follow the maps from there. I advice not to take any other road as one of the cars in our group got beached trying to use a different road.
The place is tastefully furnished and kept immaculately clean. Everything is well maintained.
Staff is very helpful and attentive.

Things to improve:
* Please have a bell or some method to summon the staff. Or have an intercom to talk to them.
* Please publish the map to get to this property from a known landmark (do not mention Durga Temple as there are even more roads that lead to the Temple, and some of them cannot be traveled by car.) The easiest I found was Taking Hill Street next to the Cargills.
* Please improve the hot/cold water mixer system. It is difficult to find the ideal temperature, but even if you do, it starts to increase temperature gradually. If you are bathing a baby/toddler or even kids, best to fill water to a bucket and bathe them as the direct water from the shower could burn the skin at times.
* Larger waste bins would have been nice.

All in all, this is a very homely place, and we enjoyed a lot. Please make the above improvements it will be a perfect holiday getaway.

Fabulous visit with family. Nice & clean place. Place has a very nice view. Also the caretaker Dinesh was a very humble & friendly. Will visit again for sure.

We stayed here on 11Mar2021, they have 2 separate villas in this place, both have 3 rooms, and front villas rooms are very very bad, not worth for money, their backside villa rooms are very good. The garden & views are same like in photos very beautiful. But they must change front villa rooms conditions. They have BBQ machine, and we paid for front villa 19000 per night for 3 rooms, for backside villa 27000 per night. And their staff Dinesh was very helpful person.

Excellent Place to find lodging facilities for families with a group of 10-15 people.super satisfied with their services, cleanliness, food, luxuries and more over convenience.

We stayed at the 3 bed room villa. It’s a small cozy villa and absolutely beautiful. Very clean. Dinesh and Hemachandra was very friendly and helpful! Food was delicious! Loved everything about this place!

Very lovely place. Nice and clean spacious rooms There is a villa with 3 rooms, kitchen, 2 sitting rooms. Three families can stay together. Also another 3 separate rooms. Bathrooms are clean. Rooms equipped with TV hot water tea making facilities. Nice dinning hall. Lovely garden as you can see in the photos. Less than 5min drive from the town. Very friendly staff. Cook very delicious food. I recommend highly for stay in Nuwaraeliya. Really worth for the money.

We booked the upstairs double room, with a bath tub. Room was oky and Thusitha and the other guy have done a good job to make our stay a pleasant one. But unfortunately the TV was not working and the room needs to sound proofed as lot of sounds can be heard from adjacent rooms. The view from the room disturbed by the rising buildings, otherwise it would be a great one. But from the balcony you can have considerably good view.
