Villa Tea Fields

Loved our time here at Villa Tea Fields after a manic week in Ella. Great spot to unwind and enjoy the unique scenery Nuwara Eliya has to offer. Incredible hosts who are extremely welcoming and gave us a great restaurant recommendation.

Worst customer service ever, doesn't even give hot tea, when asked to buy a cup. Doesn't know how to talk to customers. We specifically asked this place for a cup of tea because we were cold they said they don't have tea. 100% right place

A very atmospheric hotel, a little away from the city center. Friendly staff. You can learn all about tea while walking around the surrounding tea plantations.

Everything was great. We especially enjoyed the hot bath and the very comfortable beds.the staff very friendly and helpful. Thank you very much

The stay was an amazing one. Surrounded by tea fields. Just like the pictures available over the net. It is just 2kms from Gregory Lake and 5kms from City centre.

The property manager Shameera is a great guy and takes care of guests in best possible way. He helped us get food delivered at night, arrange tuktuk/cabs, got us bicycles to roam around the city, prepared amazing breakfast early morning.

We left with top class hospitality and wonderful experience.

If only I could give them more than 5 stars. This place had amazing views overlooking the tea estates. The property caretaker/manager (Shameera) was amazing and so kind. They would go above and beyond to make sure you have an excellent stay. They also gave us a little gift of tea bags when we were leaving.
The location is just 2 km from Gregory lake. You can easily find tuktuk and buses from their location. If you ask them they will also arrange cab/taxi for you.

We stayed one night here in the delux room. The room was just perfect, nicely decorated. The garden and the terrace are nice and perfect to relax. You can walk and rwach in few minutes gregory lake, you can also have a walk behind the house in the tea plantations. Reccomend ;)

A fantastic, cozy, warm and welcoming stay for anyone coming to Nuwara Eliya. Staff incredibly nice and helpful and a great location close to Lake Gregory.

Such a beautiful place to stay. The staff take care of you like family. The food is really tasty. The view over the tea plantations is so pretty! Nuwara Eliya is a wonderful place. So scenic with such lovely, friendly people. Easy reach of lake Gregory with some lovely restaurants.

Lovely and clean place with very friendly employees. Can recommend this hotel very much. They even prepared for us a traditional breakfast once they knew that we preferred this over English breakfast (which also was plenty and very good ;). We enjoyed the tranquil surroundings with a cup of tea on their beautiful terrace - will come back:)

Beautiful environment. Very helpful owners. We got a beautiful room. They provided us with dinner. Breakfast was great. The bed is big and comfortable. The only thing that is inconvenient is the temple nearby and praying from 6: 00 in the morning, which is very noisy. But that's all over this site. The accommodation also has a beautiful terrace with a view.
