Elements Beach & Nature Resort

A gem of a place on the north west coast of Sri Lanka. The surroundings are very quiet, and it’s the perfect place to relax + enjoy the water on a SUP or Kite. We are coming to end of our trip in Sri Lanka and this place felt like the real Sri Lanka - credit goes to all the staff who were unbelievable in their service and hospitality, even before we arrived. We also loved how much it felt like the local community were involved and the impact elements has in the area. We hope to come back again!

Heaven on earth. We wanted to start our Sri Lanka journey with some relaxing beach days north of colombo and were really lucky to come across this place. It’s located at an incredible long and lonely beach right next to a lagoon. The service was incredible (thank you sunjaran!).
The cabanas are absolutely beautiful. Food was also really good.
If you come here to relax you will just be as happy as people who come here for kitesurfing! Lots of activities are available. The whole place is just great!

Best hotel we have been to in Sri Lanka. Big compound, sustainable, amazing staff, great food and beautiful cabanas. Also loved the animals. Highly recommended.

Very friendly staff.
Beautiful beach but very dirty despite the fact that it was regularly cleaned by the hotel staff.
The sea was very rough, making it difficult for children to swim. Maybe that was why there was a lot of plastic brought from the sea.
Beautiful swimming pool next to the beach.
We were able to paddle on the mangrove just behind the Magnifique hotel.
The prices of food (we have to eat on site because it is far from everything) and excursions remain very high prices for Sri Lanka 40 EUR 1 hour on horseback for a ride with someone who holds the bridle (we pay almost the same thing in Switzerland so we didn't do it).

Dolphin excursion we saw nothing and we were very shaken.

We spent 5 wonderful days at Elements Beach & Nature Resort. All Elements team members were very friendly and helpful. The bungalow with beach view was fantastic and very clean. Our children were able to ride by the sea, we saw dolphins and a blue whale and had a few fantastic kite sessions by the sea and in the lagoon. And the food was fantastic. One evening the chef cooked a special pizza for the children and baked a chocolate croissant for breakfast. Simply top and highly recommended.

What a week! The days at Elements were amazing! Everything fitted perfectly. The complex is very large, well-kept and invites you to linger. The cabana is furnished simply yet with style. We found the outdoor bathroom to be the highlight. The food was phenomenal & the staff very friendly and attentive! Thanks to the entire team! We will be back:).

I am writing my rating in English to reach a broader audience:) it is already a little while back when we stayed at Elements (March 2023) and I wanted to see a few more places to get an impression about how Elements fits in. We are a German couple and stayed 4 nights and absolutely loved everything at elements! The location is fantastic and so peaceful! The animals on the farm are so cute and friendly, the owners are super fun to chat with and the staff is soooo exceptionally nice! Also the food is great. If you want to experience a special place on Sri Lanka, I heartily recommend Elements! It has been outstanding from the other places we stayed at!

FAMILY VACATION

Dear Elements Nature & Beach Resort,
We wanted to take a moment to express our gratitude for the wonderful stay we had at your resort. Our family had an unforgettable time exploring the natural beauty that surrounds your property and taking advantage of all the amenities you offer.
We were especially impressed with the abundance of animals on the grounds (donkeys, horses, dogs, cats and even an ox).
And the food! We can't say enough about how delicious everything was. From the fresh fruits to the perfectly prepared buffet every evening, every meal was a culinary delight. We appreciated the variety of options and the service.

Of course, we have to mention the lagoon villa we stayed in. It was absolutely stunning and provided the perfect setting for our family vacation. We felt like we were living in paradise, with donkeys in our garden.
And last but certainly not least, the pool was a huge hit. We spent hours swimming and playing, and we appreciated the comfortable lounge chairs and shady spots to relax.
Thank you for creating such a wonderful environment for families to enjoy. We can't wait to come back and make more memories at your beautiful resort.

Little paradise away from the city between the lagoon and the ocean
Dolphins watching organised by the staff- incredible and not expensive
Food - mains and desserts and freshly made and excellent
staff- So professional and helpful and smiling

Perfect for few days to relax OR work from there as the network was strong enough

Wonderful food served in a breathtaking location, I didn't stay but I did see the pool which looked incredible.

We stayed for three days and it was amazing! What a place! And what a friendly people! If we did not book other locations we definitely would stay longer! You can do a lot of activities we did kiting and dolphin watching it was both great! Next to that breakfast and dinner were included and both superb! If you go to Sri Lanka make sure you visit Elements!

We loved our trip to Elements. It was so relaxing, perfect for kite surfing, and the most incredible dolphin watching I have ever seen. Do not hesitate to book here. It was amazing and we will be back!

Absolutely great place to be. In the cabanas you sleep - well protected by mosquito net - practically outdoors and I can tell you, you sleep like a baby. The staff is superfriendly and very helpful, they provide a top class service in all regards. So is the Chef who is a fantastic cook! The whole resort works sustainable (no plastic i.e.) and the close beach is long and nice and all for you! Perfect place to relax and recover from our nervous and stressing world in Europe. There you realize - as Marcel, the GM, states: Less is more!

A truly wonderful place, away from the hectic of day-to-day lives.

I just completed 14 days in this Level 1 ressort instead of going into standard quarantine. After obtaining my negative arrival PCR TEST I could roam around the vast property, walk on the beach, swim in the pool or simply do nothing and enjoy the abundance of nature around me. I even could go windsurfing and paddle with the SUP on the lagoon.
The staff was very friendly and super attentive, great team! Food was excellent and had always healthy options.
Time passed by very fast and I could have stayed for another 14 days without a problem.

Amazing view, Amazing food, Amazing view, Amazing people and Amazing Experience.what more can one want?

The rooms are comfortable, spacious and very earthly with heights and views.

But sadly the culinary experience was nil, food was very misleading and tasted very off, if not too much salt or else no salt at all.: (

Customer service was very much not up to standards, had to walk to the restaurant just to get sm food to the rooms which is quite the long walk back.
No many varieties of cusines nor could we hv gotten smth made out of the menu.
Ordered a (Spaghetti with chicken) instead got normal vermicelli noodles with prawns:/

Overall - rooms, views and activities are nice, but the cusine and service was bad.

Hope to see improvement.

Perfect paradise place directly at the ocean ideal either to arrive and relax in Sri Lanka before further travels or just to do Kitesurfing. Very lovely People and owners, a nice Team and Perfect Conditions for kitesurfing. A little bit isolated but an oasis. Donkeys and lots of other Animals walking Along the Beach and your accomodation.

Lovely spot, perfectly embedded into the local sri lankan environment, making it a true gem in nature. So many possibilities to go after during a stay there (kiteboarding, kayaking, SUPing, dolphin watching, yoga, or just relaxing at the infinity pool to just name a few). The shabby chic, natural bungalows / cabanas are something very unique and perfectly suit the vibe of this place! Run by a local team that carries their heart at the right place and makes you feel very welcome - highly recommendable!
