Kitesurfing Lanka

KSL is a very beautiful place. The environment is so relaxing, with lots of plants around. Ideal for a restful holiday. KSL can organize 'Dolphin Watching' for you and it's one of the best experiences I have ever had, one that's never to be missed! The staff were very helpful and always with a smile. The breakfast was extremely good. I am sure if you go to this place once, you may want to go back a second time. Overall fully satisfied with the trip to Kitesurfing Lanka. Hoping to visit again.

Kite Surfing Lanka is THE spot in Kalpitiya for kiteboarding. They are setup with all the transport, trucks and boats for the island trips. A fun, energetic atmosphere where we integrate with the KSL team and other travellers. A special shout out to Sebastian, Shane, Anitchka, Tikiri, Saif, Thakeisha, & Gihan for ensuring we had a great time.
Our flight arrived at midnight and KSL arranged transport for us to arrive early morning, no problems.
Food was excellent with a huge mix of tasty Sri Lankan inspired cruisine.
Kiteboarding:
We stayed 10 days. The draw card is the flat water lagoons and island trips. There was often light wind in the mornings and better wind in the afternoon. I was on mostly 12m kite some 10m sessions.
KSL offer activities to kids for kiteboarding parents and there is some Safari options also. I highly recommend KSL for the adventurous kiteboarding traveller.

Here you can get the most expensive beer I've seen in Sri Lanka in 4 weeks, even though it costs 30% tax. In short, food and drink costs the same as in Germany. Other kite schools nearby are cheaper.

Amazing place. Great resort, great food, great people and great vibe. Came here as complete beginner kitesurfer and after a few days now starting to get going. Havent felt unsafe for a second, and they allow to progress on a suitable pace. The kite location also great

Amazing place! Amazing people! Amazing kite instructor for all level. The beach boys helps a lot when kiting as a beginner, they bring back your kite up wind! The place it self is awesome everything is well planned and organized.

A wonderful place to stay. We have stayed in their beach bungalow, which provided a sublime experience mainly because of its location. A very friendly staff and the Kayaking experience was fascinating.

We went off-season, so could not kite, but the stay was great anyways. The staff is super nice and arranged alternative activities for us like a Safari, etc.

"Paradise inside" is writen on the front of the entrance. So expactions were high, and this place did not dissapoint! Anyway, we couldn't imagine any better place to stay for first Kitebording experinence. In the middle of October and in difficult times for Sri Lanka we had been the only customers. But to be honest, they took so much care on us that we never felt lonely or anything like this. From the first moment we arrived it felt like become part of a special kind of family. And that feeling last to end of our 7 days stay.
When it comes to Kiteboarding, man these guys are profesional! Thank you Hamid and especially thank you Michi for teaching us these amazing kind of sport. You did a great job! So what else to say! Maybe we should mention the good food, the stuning sunsets on the bridge, the nice evenings with deep talking at the bar and also the beautiful detailed garden. KSL you won our hearts! Keep going. Hope to see you again

A really great place to stay. A little oasis of beauty on the beach. We stayed in a garden room and Leo house and had a great time in both. We didnt eat there as were at the BNKR fitness camp and eating there (highly recommend the fitness camp too!)
We had loads of fun learning to kitesurf and our teacher Roel was very calm and supportive in getting us up on the board. Some of the beginners equipment could definitely do with a service (life jackets and harnesses a little rusty, zips and straps broken) but we were so focused on not crashing that it didnt bother us. Worth a visit!

These are the places we travel for, we came for a few days and ended up staying for 3 weeks! Not into kitesurfing much but this places is seriously chilled after a long trip around Lanka. The people that work here are really easy going and really talented when you get to know them more. Only thing I can say is that the WiFi is amongst the slowest we've come across. Definitely recommended.

A place that definitely is worth to recommend. Top class kite instructors, well-equipped kite base, really good food, nice, clean and quiet accommodation perfectly located just on the edge of the lagune.

The location is very nice. Included breakfast is good. You can eat any amount you like for the breakfast. But there are few things to improve.
-The attached bathrooms with those cabanas aren't have any roof. Therefor you can't use them when there is a rain. So I suggest to put atleast a transparent roof
-This cabanas have about six power outlets. All are round pin sockets even Sri Lanka adapted to square pin type. I suggest atleast put one of square pin plug base
-This non AC cabana cost approximately 7000+ for a night. I feel it's little bit pricier for a room without AC.

Awesome place surrounded by mangrove and lagoon, super friendly staff and vibe, delicious food, great kite spot and cool creation and creativity. Thanks
