We had a great time here on our way to Colombo from Anuradhapura
We stopped there for dinner
The place is calm and less crowded we could have our own food and drinks as we ordered they prepared fresh
Lovely staff

Not a well maintained place, food was good with an acceptable variety, good place for a quick meal of Sri Lankan food.

If you like traditional rice curry with a twist of their own depending on the area the rest-house is located - this is the place to go when passing Puttalam

The food is not that great but ok there is no food menu available when I ask for the food menu the staff were telling me due to covid 19 they are not allowed to present the food menu to the guests but people must see the menu before they order the food for the variety of food available and the prices a immediate action should be taken for this matter otherwise they can put the food prices as much they want and the price of the food is not reasonable enough for the quality of the food and portions of the meal even the room rates are very high according to the condition currently and should be renovated soon the toilet is not clean enough in the family room also if they can display the room rates in the counter in the entrance better we have taken the family room and charge 4400 and it is shown in the food bill as 4000+10% service charge 400 =4400 this should be changed and room rates if they can display in the entrance is great however the waiter was nice and helpful

Perfect place. I was used AC rooms only. Well maintained place. Ask them to moob your rooms before use. Bcz man who employed to clean the house, doesn't work well.

Regular food, no english speakers. Beware of paying with dollars, worst change of the whole country

Worst place I have ever visited. Very uncoperative staff and dirty place. Do not spent valuable money for this place.

Bathrooms are very dirty. Tiles are full of stains. There are crockrches and frogs in the
toilets. Bed room walls are full of stains. Food item prices are high. Staff is very friendly and cooperative.

Good food.and decent prices.couldn't ask for more.did a visit with a load of journalists who were both surprised as well as delighted with the service.

Ripped a group of 20 of us off. Charged us different prices for a coke with some paying 220 and others 300. Furthermore a service charge was included without prior notice. Service was average with our driver having to do some of the service

AVOID! Even one star is far too much! We had the worst (!) food ever in Sri Lanka here. Far too expensive for what you get! Terrible service!

Many tourist busses stop here for lunch, that is the "problem": So, the staff thinks "oh so simple, they come anyway for lunch. "

Room was dirty and old. No mosquito nets. Restaurant was old food heated again and got foodpoisoning from it. Don't recommend this place.
