Windy Waves Beach Restaurant

This place is amazing! We had crab, Lobsters and Oysters. Everything is super fresh, the staff is wonderful. Whoever is there needs to visit this place. Probably the best food in Kalpitya:)

We are currently sitting with our group in the Windy waves beach restaurant and can report fresh and uncut that the fried calamari with garlic rice or the fried giant prawns are absolutely top and delicious. In addition to this service, our children also enjoy the burgers with top marks. The service is super friendly and we are very enthusiastic about the culinary diversity from this region. Great restaurant with a great location right on the beach. Unforgettable sunsets with delicious food (also seafood), mostly delicious drinks and with Mali a very attentive and friendly waiter who looked after us very well. Can be highly recommended.

For us the best restaurant in the area, we come here almost every day. Right on the beach, with a nice beach bar and day beds as well. Service is excellent, and the menu has great variety. Stayed here last year in one of the bungalows, also great.

Tried the wrap and fries. The wrap was good but the fries (wedges on the menu) were a bit too crisp.

Amazing place to have calamares and beer. Really recommend to all tourist and locals who want to have an amazing meal.

I absolutely loved the food here. I got there a little early before lunch but they were very accommodating. The food was absolutely delicious. Definitely try the whole fish with, coconut rice and fries. Look for Niro when you get there and say hi!

Great restaurant in the Kalpitiya kitesurfing area! Oceanfront with amazing sunsets and so tasty food! The guys there really care for their food and customers. We were there for three nights and enjoyed the grilled tuna, calamari and their rice and curry! (PS. Even if you are staying near the kitesurfing lagoon, it is only ca 30 minutes walk away)

Best Dining in a seashore experience in Kalpitiya

Undoubtedly the best food in Kalpitiya. The friendly staff provides you an unforgettable experience in seashore. I had four meals there. Each one is totally different and taste is at its best. Watching sunset while having a tea at this beachfront restaurant is unforgettable. Highly recommended and this is a must visit for those who visit Klpitiya.

How to say it better. I do not eat sea-food and here everything is so delicious, it is the first time I enjoy and appreciate this type if meal.
Prices are medium to high, but the location, the service, the food is so excellent that is worthy!

Just at the beach and brand new tents are a dream as well as the buffet for 1000 per person. Quiet and peaceful. Liked the outdoor shower!
