Belihuloya Rest House

Very unconfortable bed and very noisy due to river. Please dont go there.also meals are very expensive, but not tasty. Highly dissapointed.

Not the Belihul-oya Rest House that used to be!

So many things have to be improved with this type of iconic location and resources. Shame!

Rooms are not clean and not in a good condition.meals pricr are high compared to other places and portion are small.

There are no any value comparing with charging high price. Very delayed service is providing.

We stayed two nights with FB. All meals are fairly okay. But remember there are no beef and pork available in this 5 star hotel as most customers are devotees. Rooms are in excellent in terms of size, cleanliness etc. Staff too is help full. In the restaurants, one female is so helpful

This premises can be used for bathing. If possible, you can visit the Hos Pahanthudawa Falls further up. Get advice from a gentleman

It is no secret that the serenity and splendor of this beautiful nature home stay unit is a splendid tranquilizer to the tired nerves of ours. Best place for a family getaway from the concrete jungle of colombo city. Budgetary stay. Great!

So poorly maintained. Not clean at all. The minor staff is kind and helpful. The others don't even care about the customers. We just went for tea.only rolls and sandwiches were available for a snack. And the rolls were ready to eat frozen ones which are available in supermarkets. Tables and chairs are not wiped for years I guess.full of dirt. Extremely dissatisfied!

Wonderful old place, Since it is government owned place it is lacking the hospitality that we Sri Lankans offer.

We all 7 ladies visited the place for a cup of tea and to use wash room. The manager rejected our request as there is no power in the areaby that time. He refused to give a cup of tea. He loudly said in front of all guests not to use washroom. We were humiliated and embarrassed the way he shouted at us. He is not suitable for hospitality industry at all. Ceylon hotel corporation should train their staff as how to be polite and serve customers respectful manner.

Belihuloya rest house is located in between Beragala and Rathnapura Road. A average ok place to take a rest use a wash room have a nice cup of ginger tea or for other they even serve alcohol.
Tip: Wash rooms are average maintained could be better maintained.

This Rest House is bordering the Belihuloya river which is beautiful scenic river flows hitting rocks in between. You can have a good bath enjoying the river flow and have lunch and a beer at the Restaurant.
Very nice place to enjoy your day.

This place is scenic place it has a nice view of a water stream and have good food alarcart menue

Sad to see a place like this has gone to ruin.took them more than 20mins to prepare a cup of coffee.didn't ask if we want sugar or not.

Single lime drink with 200ml cup cost you LKR. 900/= each. Verify the prices before purchase anything.

Very affordable buffet from 12 to 4PM. Food is nice and enjoyable, also it's located right next to the Belihul Oya bathing are so you can enjoy a super cold dip in the waters and have a warm lunch. Great value for price!

Located on your way to Haputale (Bandarawela, Badulla, etc.) with a beautiful and calm surrounding. The reception and restaurant is full of antiques. Friendly and helpful staff. A plain tea with ginger will refresh you and an ideal place to have a break. Reasonable prices and good rest rooms.

Went for lunch to belihuloya rest house.food and service was good.however when we received the bill, we were charged 195/- for a 500ml water which has an MRP of 35/- and 300/- for a 300ml sprite which is ridiculous.also 850/- for a rice and curry lunch was quite high priced for a rest house.anyway the food was tasty so it was ok to pay that.but for a government run hotel to be charging ridiculous prices for water is a shame.over to you consumer authority

A place to be visit. We had a lunch. Very tasty. Friendly service. Nice view of Belihul oya river. We enjoyed at the river area.and had a memorable experience. (please get assist from the rest house staff, They will show the suitable place to get in to the river). Quite and calm place
