The staff are SUPER friendly and helpful. Rooms really clean with a comfortable bed. Great pool!
We had both dinner (photo) and breakfast and it was INCREDIBLE. I didn’t take a photo of the breakfast but it was fit for a queen! They totally worked around our schedule travel without any issues.

Lovely place with lovely people and very delicious food! Great starting point for a safari in Udawalawe NP

Big clean rooms, even a little couch with a tv. Clean badroom with hot water and a good water pressure. Free toilleteries, tea or coffee in the room and a little refrigarator. A swimmingpool in a nice yard. A little terras where you can chill. Very friendly and helpful staff and owner. Near the Udawalawe national park and the owner can arrang a safari trip with a good jeep and the driver knows a lot about the animals. The elephant transit home is in walkdistance also. Enjoyed our stay here.

Unexpected experience! For a cheap price you have a swimming pool a big room a very good and tasty diner. We had to leave very early for a safari and the take away breakfast was superb with traditional food!

Very friendly staff, nice rooms and good food! Would definitely recommend! We stayed with a group of 4 adults and 1 child (almost 2 years old). Close to the national park, you can arrange a safari at the location.

Hidden gem in Udawalawe. Absolutely loved the stay there. The staff was really polite and helpful. The food was fantastic. Nice and calm place to wind down in country side. Rooms are cosy and spacious. Bathrooms are spacious. Totally worth for the money. Enjoyed the every moment. Highly recommend.

We loved it. Perfect for a family getaway. Close to Uda Walawe Park. Delicious local cuisine. The rooms was clean, spacious and had everything we needed. The pool was lovely especially after a long journey. The staff were really helpful and attentive. We'll definitely be returning.

This is the best place to safari in Udawalawe. Personally, I can recommend this place 100 percent.

Beautiful facilities, such friendly staff and the best place to book for a tour of the Udawalawa Park. Also, the food is unbelievable. The dinner buffet is so delicious. Get the dahl, beans, eggplant etc. Would definitely stay again if I was going to the national Park.

Spacious rooms kept as insect free as possible. Clean room and bathroom. The staff were very helpful, lovely and friendly. The food was very good, for breakfast and especially for dinner. We chose to have dinner there the second night as it was so tasty. They sorted out the safari driver for us who was also amazing. Highly recommend this place.

Great accomodation close to the national park. Rooms are spacious and tidy. The staff is very friendly. Dinner (additionally booked when we arrived) and breakfast were both very tasty and plenty. We stayed one night and did the early morning safari (highly recommended!) which we also booked with the Countyside. For the safari we got a little breakfast pack with bananas and crackers. After the safari the large breakfast was served. I recommend staying here!

Can't rate this place highly enough. Staff were extremely helpful and rooms were spacious and clean. It's a small place with a handful of houses where you can stay, and the dining area is a small space but more than adequate.

Breakfast was traditional Sri Lankan dishes such as samosa, paratha, pancakes stuffed with sugar and coconut. Dinner was typical dhal and chicken curry (spicy) with rice.

I am extremely grateful to the staff who helped my partner get medical assistance from the nearby doctor, they went above and beyond the service you expect from a hotel.

We had a lovely stay at the countryside.

Rooms were clean, spacious and pleasant, dinner and breakfast were really delicious (breakfast was especially rich!), and on top of all Lahiru took great care of us - provided with safari access and transportation - and even went beyond his way and helped us with arranging transportation a few days after we had already left (we knew we could trust him and felt comfortable approaching him).

Nice and quiet place. Clean and spacious rooms. Great food (breakfast as well as dinner). Nice owner helps you with everything. Good place to start national park safari.

Highly recommended place. Extremely friendly and caring host / owner and equally friendly staff. The place is newly build (2 years old) and rooms are spacious, very clean and comfortable with A/C. They have very nice, soft beds and we slept very well. Bathroom is also very large and clean. Dinner was very tasty and equally the breakfast. The host helped us with transit and organized shuttle from our previous stay in Ella for us and to our next stop in Tangalle - both at very reasonable prices. The host also organized our safari which was really amazing. I highly recommend this place and would definatly go again!
