Elephant Road Resort reviews
6 Miki and his staff are wonderful people. The resort is a bit on the expensive side, but it's absolutely worth it. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable, the (Israeli) breakfast ist exceptional and the surf lessons here have a great quality (as far as I can judge as a total beginner).

The best place to stay in Arugam Bay, very peaceful and surrounding by nature. 5 mins from main road. Great delicious fresh food. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean, nicely decorated, lots of space in and outdoor, common and private areas to chill.for sure I'll be visiting here again. Highly Recommended!

I had an amazing time at Elephant road resort! The place is quiet, a bit away from the center of the village which is great. But you can still easily walk to the village (5min) or take a tuk tuk.
The owner Miki makes you feel at home. You can get advices from him if you look for restaurants, things to do in Arugam bay or in Sri Lanka in general, cafés, or if you need to book something, etc.
I went there with my sister. We mainly wanted to surf there but we got so much more.
Oh and the cook prepares amazing dishes/breakfast!
I have so many nice things to say about this place, i could fill a book. I had the best time while being there. I don't regret choosing this place for a minute. The only thing i do regret is that i had to leave to go home.
Conclusion:
Place: fantastic. Surf: fantastic. Food: fantastic. People: fantastic.
