Tsunami beach hotel

Very nice and clean.
Large territory just in front of ocean under the tree with shadows (save in hot afternoon)
Very polite manager - help with all our questions

Cabanas situated far enough to each other - very quiet and relax atmosphere

Hotel have parking (not so many hotels around have it)
This is the best choice for such money

Around hotel you can find a lot of cafe/shops

As all hotels in arugam bay this hotel is very simple and renovation is needed. But it costs accordingly. As other hotels new one have the same interior and double prices.
But this hotel have huge advantage - great personal and perfect location.
The territory of this hotel is huge, with garden and on the beach. And there is no bars and restaurants much close. So you can afford relax with a perfect distance for parties and dinner.
The personal is fabulous. They help with all questions (where to rent tuktuk, how to change currency and helping in organising barbecue on the beach). And they always ready to help, try to predict quests requests, with some questions outside hotel team is helping with a quite competitive conditions and with trusted suppliers. Everything we do through them - didn’t become an unpleasant story where locals trying to cheat you. Guys that was a pleasure to live in you hotel, and advise for owner - little renovation will do your place more interesting.

A very nice place to stay. The bungalows are very nicely decorated, the beds are clean and comfortable. The staff is very helpful and friendly. We would love to come back and would have loved to have stayed longer.

The advantage of the hotel is the very close access to the beach, it is possible to use hammocks or deckchairs with mattresses in the area.
The hotel rooms are pleasant and air-conditioned free of charge, but in some places the plaster has fallen off along with mold from humidity. We only had salt water in the bathroom.
It is possible to order food at the hotel.

We spent 10 days here, right on the beach. In the very hot days were shaded by the trees. Kamil and his staff were kind and helpful with all our questions and requests. Close to store to buy fresh Fruit and curd for breakfast, hotel loaned us plates, spoons and knife.

Great place, kind staff. The location is right next to the ocean. But there are animals in the rooms)

Completely unreliable and greedy management. We booked in January for April, two weeks before arrival we were written to that they "accidentally" made it too cheap for us and tripled the price! Suddenly we should pay a price that is charged here for a luxury hotel. So we had to find something new at very short notice and of course the offer was much more limited so shortly before departure.
A week before arrival, a letter came that they would now offer it to us for the price originally quoted. Sure, den Arugam is still completely empty at the beginning of April, completely out of season! This is just a despicable rip-off attempt!
The location is the property's plus, right on the beach. A long walk to Main Point for surfers!

Very good place as it is right next to the beach. Sea is only good for surfing from end April to July
