Water Edge Surf Resort

Looks nice from the outside but food is really bad, the salad had still frozen cheese chunks in it, the pasta and the burrito was cold and really tastless, absolutetly no recommendation!

The hotel is very beautiful, located in the center of the main street, and is within walking distance to everywhere, outside the rooms an inviting sitting area, a restaurant with delicious food, family atmosphere, 24/7 service with the highest level of guest care, seffi one of the employees was very nice, helpful and really did We had a better vacation, pampered us and helped us with everything we needed!

The restaurant of the place is excellent! Delicious food especially at evening events at the beach

We had burrito which was super tasty and big serving with avacado, small salad and curd.
Staff is very helpful and fast.
We wish we could stay in Arugam Bay longer, we would definitely come back here again!

The toilet door lock was broken. After complaining they fixed a nail and a rope and said its fixed. No soap were available.lots of mosquitoes in rooms, couldn't sleep well.limited parking, I had to park along the road.food were very expensive, so I didn't order. I do not recommend this hotel for a family stay.

The water edge is an amazing spot! During our stay in Arugam Bay we chilled here every morning and had really good breakfast and coffee. The service here is amazing and I will always come back here. Thank you guys for the amazing stay

We ordered a burrito ("today's special") and it was fried and all in all not good. We also ordered oats and it was more a rice soup that oatmeal. I do not recommend this place and I will not come back.
Update: in the end they didn't make us pay, which we appreciated, since we are eating again now at a different restaurant. However, the food was still bad.

The food is very good and the rooms are big and clean. The hotel is next to the beach and the view is amazing

Room A/C is very bad. Can’t adjust temperature they hold it
Room service is not good they took long time for one service and they didn’t give us even bedtea

I spent for 4 person and I didn’t get a at least tea. And not working their wifi. And there was a electric issue. And I lost my charger

Rooms are nice and clean as advertised. Friendly staff and guest services officer Mr. John is very helpful with information.

Best place to spend the night, reasonable charges and helpful staff. Rooms are in best condition too.

Had a good time. The staff were very accommodating and resourceful. The manager was by far amazing, very intuitive and new what we needed.we took a few days to settle in, and it was so good by th e beach side so we extended our stay.thankyou

It was an amazing stay at Water Edge. Our room facilities are on the top and food was delicious, we made the right choice selecting Water edge Arugam bay for our stay.

Stayed there at off season. Situated directly in front of the beach. Nice location, but the sea view is obstructed by small coconut trees along the beach. Restaurant is good. Foods are not much expensive.
There was no parking space at the property. You will have to park your vehicle along the main road. Sometimes staff members are clueless, living in their own world.
So i will recommend this place as a 1 or 2 star (less than 3) hotel.

Had a perfect breakfast in this place! The service is great and the team sends good vibes:) you should try their smoothie bowls, a real delight!

We have been there for about five times really enjoyed every dish. I recommend the smoothie bowls and The Mexican options
