Waterfalls Homestay

The best view on our Earth! I can't forget these jungles, rocks, waterfall and the sound of peacocks and chipmunks. Must see! I had a great stay in this place and delicious breakfasts. I'd like return.

Beautiful place, blissful experience. We stayed in the brand new garden room, very nicely appointed. Stunning view of Kithal Ella Falls, mountains and the lush valley. The breakfasts were amazing. Super fresh and smooth buffalo yogurt/curd, fresh fruit, the best friend oyster mushrooms ever on delicious eggs, a selection of muffins and perfectly toasted bread with very special Amba estates jams and premium artisan organic tea, also from Amba. Kia was there perfect hostess, friendly, helpful and informative.

Best place i’ve stayed in all of Sri Lanka thus far! Highly recommended. Amazing view, super friendly host family and delicious food. Plus they have the cutest 2 dogs and 2 cats. I would stay there if i’m visiting Ella again

The most wonderful place to stay in Ella, the view of the falls is just amazing, as is the welcome you will receive from Karen and the team. We stayed in the studio which was lovely, comfortable and homely. It honestly feels like you're staying over at a friend's place. And as for the breakfast, well you certainly won't be disappointed. Karen was most helpful with suggestions for local walking and places to eat, and arranged Tuk-Tuks for us to make it easy to get into the centre of Ella. Our driver found it tricky getting us there in his mini van (he hadn't been before), so we used Tuk-Tuks after that to get back to the main road.

Nice lady Karen and her husbend run the guest house. Very beautiful and quite place. When ve go there the waterfall was amazing.

We had such a wonderful stay at Waterfalls. Karen was extremely accommodating when we arrived, it felt like you were coming home to an old friends place. All the rooms give you enough privacy and create a charming setting to make your stay in Ella a truly unique experience. The breakfast was exceptional, everything from Sri Lankan omelettes, home made muffins, jams & breads, oh and delicious coffee! A MUST STAY while you are in Ella!

Amazing place with amazing view! We had some problems with our driver and they helped us a lot. Nice people and very good breakfast!

The view is incredible, but not the only reason to stay here. A great base if you like to walk, with a hike along the railway tracks leading you to the 9 arch bridge, little Adam's peak, and the foot of the waterfall (not the big, tourist one by the road). The breakfast is delicious and the host warm and friendly.

Highly recommended! We stayed here (2+1 kid) for 4 nights in the Studio. It is a beautiful place and the hosts are wonderful. The rooms are very clean. You should book with breakfast it is so good and the view to the waterfall is just insane! Thank you!

Quite a special house with the most amazing views. The rooms and the common areas reflect Kay's personality and taste, and are lovely. Her team in welcoming, always smiling, and serves a crazy good breakfast. The rooms are small but cozy and clean. We had a room separated from the house, which was perfect, but a bit loud in the morning due to monkeys playing around and over it. It is a bit of a walk from the village, so make sure you have a 3 wheeler to get there with your bags!

Amazing guesthouse with a superb view on the jungle and waterfall from all the rooms and terrasse. Karen and her family are amazing hosts. Rooms are beautifully decorated and spotless! And breakfast is delicious.

Amazing place to be based for the many walks in the area. The rooms where clean and comfortable. The owners are friendly and very helpfull with tea and biscuits offered when ever we were about. The views from our room overlooked the waterfalls and there are monkey's in the trees around homestay. Would definitely stay here again if we ever go back to Ella. Best place we stayed in during our holiday to Sri Lanka!

This is a true little heaven and nature sanctory. Far away from the waterfall. But within distant sight. Well maintained and run little homestay. Great cool offering awesome healthy non Sri Lankan dishes. A great Aussie couple run this amazing place. Hard to find though

I stayed here with my boyfriend for three nights, it was just magical. We stayed in the jungle room and had lovely views out in to the trees every morning. The breakfasts were divine! Kaia looked after us very well, even organising us hoppers for breakfast in our last day! I couldn't recommend it enough. Very special memories.

Very welcoming host Karen & her daughter Kaya. Great breakfast provided. Very warm great place to stop & do nothing.

Fantastic. Great hosts. Clean, quite and comfortable. Hot water in bathroom. Beautiful view of the neighbouring hillside. About a 2 km walk to the village which has lots of restaurants. The guest hose does not serve lunch or dinner, but breakfasts are excellent.
