One of the best food places i’ve visited.the dosas are delicious.just make sure to come before 12: 30 or in the evening, otherwise they only have snacks.

Beautiful religious place. Architecture of this hindu temple is great. Kamatchi amman kovil is known among devotees for an exotic experience in hinduism, unlike other traditional hindu temples in Batticaloa. This temple, having more of an indian touch in rituals and poojas, holds a uniquely beautiful way of devotion. This temple, being a private property, run by a management of an orphanage named “Karunalayam” is well managed operationally, at the same time, the premises and kept very clean and tidy. At the entrance there is a huge statue of Hanuman.

I didn’t like the food at all. I took crabs and seafood soup. There was absolutely no seafood in the soup, the portion was minimal. For 1300 rupees, in Hikkaduwa they gave a huge bowl of soup and it was full of everything, and the taste was incomparably better. As for crabs, it’s worse, I haven’t tried anything. Welikanda Kavudagala (also known as Kaudagala or Kawudagala) is a rocky area situated near Polonnaruwa in the Welikanda region. This historic Buddhist temple complex has now been transformed into a serene forest hermitage. To access this site, one must travel to Welikanda from Polonnaruwa on the Batticaloa road. From Welikanda, a narrow road spanning 13 kilometers, passing through Maithreegama, leads to the destination. The site lies next to the ancient Kurulubedda Wewa reservoir.

Stayed for 3 days and 2 nights.

The bathroom is almost as big as the bedroom area. Love the space.

The unit is right next to the beach. Very suitable for those wanting to catch the sunrise. (I wasn't able to because it rained on both morning I was there. Haha).

Wifi was good. Was able to watch some show online without any buffer.

Food was good.

Overall, no complaints. Only good vibes all around.
