We dived in BoillerWrack and Butterflie Rock.
The Reefs here are untouched and healthy, and there is so much more to discover.

TEC DIVER TRAINING TO DIVE THE WRECK HMS HERMES! I contacted Feli the tec instructor before I arrived for the course. All information was spot on! Deep sea resor was very convenient for tec divers! I had may previous dives up to 55 m with only one gas.
It was really technical! Diving with two stages. I did my tec 40 / 45 and tec 50. It was really comfortable to spend 25 mins at 45 - 50 m and decompress using 50% nitrox and O2 and to finish the dive in about 60 mins! The shearwater computer was wonderful!
The wreck HMS Hermes is the wreckage of the worlds first purpose built air craft carrier bombed by the Japanese during the 2nd world war,
She has found her final resting place in The east coast of sri lanka "Batticaloa" off the Nawalady beach about 8.5 km beneath the sea at a depth of 42 m to 55 m.
Due to strong surface currents and as for the depth it is mandatory to possess tec diver certifications. Divers who meet the pre requisites can get the tec training done and keep diving.
The deep sea resort Nawalady Batticaloa has a well equipped and tec accredited training facility and the base with all the facilities to dive the the wrecks as well as reefs.
The resort has air con rooms, a Restaurant, swimming pool, Boat point and a large garden. Free WIFI coverage will keep divers busy all the time.
The dive center welcomes tec open circuit divers as well as CCR divers.
3 ltr cylinders, 2 ltr cylinders, Oxygen booster, helium stocks and Sofno lime availability make divers comfortable at the resort.
Qualified padi dive professionals are available at all times
