Gota Dagua Surf Camp Sri Lanka - Ahangama

Best surfcamp I have ever been to. I have been with them in Portugal and now in Sri Lanka the spirit is the same, staff very passionate about what they do and they make you feel like family. I will definitely come back.

Me and my friends stayed in the camp for 2 weeks in April and we had a really good time. We chose the camp especially because of the very good location with a lot of different surfing spots nearby. Although April is changing season we had really good conditions and it was hardly ever raining.

The camp has really nice and clean rooms with AC and beautiful bathrooms. The staff is always there for you if you need to change your towels for example. There are two water dispenser with cold drinking water.

Besides surfing there are a lot of other activities like river safari, ice bathing and a lot of parties.

The founders of the camp will actually join all the activities and also be in the water surfing with you what makes the group grow together very quickly.

This surf camp is without a doubt the best I’ve stayed in, great value for your money! It feels more like a big family than a camp, Gonçalo and Miguel are super patient in the surf lessons and will help you with anything you need. Location is great and the rooms are TOP. Plus, they always know where to get a fun drink if you have energy after the surf

Me and my partner spent here 2 amazing weeks: by doing yoga, surfing and working (we worked remotely). We met so many amazing people: hosts, staff, guests and even neighbors

Room was clean, we had AC and Fan. WIFI was good, we were able to work, have video calls and all of that with an amazing view on rooftop
Staff was amazing, pool is refreshing, food was delicious. We have a very specific diet, and hosts adapted to our preferences, so we never have been hungry, moreover, food was high quality

Yoga - is amazing experience with awesome instructor for any level on rooftop
Surfing - just top, instructors and spots are just cool, and I believe, after first week anyone can surf with such good guidance

By staying here, you will never feel like you are lost. All staff always ready to help you with anything: transfer, recommendations where to change money or buy a sim card, as well as regarding any type of tourist activity, additionally to what camp has to offer

During the whole stay you feel like you are part of the big family, everyone is caring and supportive and of course, you are having a lot of fun, because social host doesn’t give you even a chance to get bored
