Location is close to nature & serene. Place is very well maintained & clean. Room is comfortable. Meals are well served. Food was very delicious. We really enjoyed. Highly recommended.

This hotel is very special. The views from the rooms and pool are magical and it is such a calm oasis in the chaos of Sri Lanka. The owner is very passionate about wildlife and has created a beautiful hotel. You are able to take two kayaks out on the lake for free and it is definitely worth it. So relaxing - we will definitely return as soon as we can.

Beautiful place, so well kept, clean, breathtaking view.the infinity pool by the lagoon, in the evening was great.complementary kayaking was a superb experience.food was nice, the kiribath for breakfast was spot on! We had a wonderful stay.service was superb.will definitely recommend to friends.

This is an excellent hotel with a wonderful owner. Peaceful and private - incredible views across the lagoon. Definitely borrow the kayaks and explore at sunrise and/or sunset. We will definitely be back.

Kalapuwa is situated at a great location beside madu river. The hospitality of the staff is awesome. And the owner Jeewana know what’s his customers wants and will tweak anything according to customer needs. The rooms are very clean and upto 4star standards. There’s an infinity pool facing the river. GREAT PLACE IF YOU NEED TO ESCAE FROM ALL THE CONGESTION AND TO CONNECT WITH NATURE AND RELAX.

Amazing place, owner is so friendly and helpful. The food is sooo goood. The lake and river view from the room and swimming pool is so relaxing. Rooms are very clean, and much more to say about this Resort. Highly recommended.

This resort is peace and heaven. My stay went beyond beyond beyond my expectation. I cant explain how every moment was extraordinary and joyful. The view is stunning and breath taking. The staff super super friendly (Laceta! Thank you for everything and the extra luxury service). The hotel is super clean and the food is delicious.

What a place to relaxation. Right on the edge of the lagoon. There are only 5 rooms. Good service. Manager Wenura gives his fullest support for everything. Staff also very friendly. Hope to be there again.

Beautiful location on the banks of the Madu anga (River). Nice surroundings. Very clean well maintained garden. They should re look at the tariffs. Little expensive for hotel in such a village.

My first visit to the Kalapuwa resort is verry wonderful experience. As a water loving person i have a chance to do Kayaking, Paddle boarding, Safari on Madu ganga.
Food is really good. You must try traditional Sri Lanka food. Grate Chef. 5.
And the staff is caring and verry helpful.

Recommend for the people who are seeking wonderful relaxing fun experience in quite natural place.

Definitely ill be there soon.

Very Welcoming & Hospitable Staff. Exceptionally helpful and friendly owner who goes out of his way to ensure guests have a great stay.and also we had an amazing river safari, which has around 26 island. The river coverd with swaps of bio diversity.will definitely come back.
