Nu-Vin Beach Hotel Ahangama

They have everything! Nice View, Best Surf Spots, Big Garden, Delicious Foods, Bar, Vehicles for rent, Clean Rooms and The Most Important Thing Is They Have GENERATOR when it's power cuts:) And also they also do tours, safari, helping to arrange whale watching:) Really honest staff, they're really helpful and give your every needs without a doubt! Specially they have Best 3 surf spots infront of the hotel and you have long beach and you can walk along to the center of ahangama from it. I exercise every day at beach and their very big garden & they have some gym equipments also:) You can watch beautiful sea view from the room and also the wonderful sunshine & sunset! For watching sunset, this is the best place:) They have really really good delicious foods and they work very clean. We stay here for 1 month and they give good price for us, it's really reasonable price than other hotels. Next time also we come here because, This is the Best place I've ever been in my entire life:)

Nu Vin is an ideal place for surfers and travellers. We loved the family-run vibe, relaxed atmosphere, coffee and fruits for breakfast, curry was delicious also:)
The apartments are right in front of the beach - makes checking waves in the morning hours very easy. Tuk Tuks are located at the entrance also.

We were 12 people group of stay. And this is our 4th time stay at Nuvin since 2018. We have been coming almost every year and still they provide us best service for best value. Nuvin have many rooms and villa. They all are Sea-View and Garden View, and also very clean and lightful. Everyday we surfed at best surfspot called Sticks infront of Nuvin Hotel, it was really fun. And the private beach add more value to it. Every night the staff suprised us with special, delicious and variable meals on Dinner. All rooms have airconditions and free wifi. And we never seen a place like before because at Nuvin you have beautiful large garden with wonderful panaromic sea view we never seen at other places and with most adorable rooms, that's why we choose this hotel and also near to everything, you can walk along beach or road for everything and also they have anything anytime:) And also they help us to rent vehicles and for Airport Transfers, they provide us big bus as we have many people and surfboards. This is the One of the Best Hotel in Sri Lanka and we will be back next year too.

This is a great place for a cozy stay! A wonderful family always welcomes you with a smile. The most delicious breakfast on Sri Lanka, prepared by the hostess! Large holiday area, cozy rooms with balcony and ocean view. And of course, the friendliest dog in the world is Bella, she's just a cherry on this cake️

We stayed here for two months and must say this was our best stay in Sri Lanka. We work remotely, so the staff provides everything we need. I can recommend this hotel for both business and leisure. Nuvin gives us free fiber WiFi throughout our stay and has no problem working during a power outage as they have a generator. Nuvin Restaurant has a varied taste with many delicious dishes. If you are looking for heaven on earth, this is the best place:)

We have been 2 times already and would come back right away.family run, which gives you a "home feeling". The rooms are clean, basic and have an authentic style. Also the whole building looks towards the ocean, so you have direct access to the ocean which is such a positive aspect. The kitchen is unbelievable good, (veg curry!), you taste the love in every bite. So, if ahangama - always nu-vin!

The best view of all places we lived in. You can see a lot of ships in the horizon and even eventually shining waves. Place to surf nearby and one of the best places to snorkeling. We lived in every room here, if you need more privacy there re two bungalows. At the resonant you can try probably the best local dishes.

THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO WHEN BEING IN SRI LANKA AND SURFING!

You'll find the most loving family at this place, who are really good at making sure that your stay is as good as possible.
Local food on the menu, which they make fantastic! I can hardly recomend the kottu or Rice and Curry!

ABout the hotel it self, you find yourself in a quiet area where there is grass which is amazing. You Basically have your own garden to chill in, or let the sun do its job.

ABOUT THE SURFING

Ahangama is a really underestimated location for surfing. Within 200 meter to each direction you have 4 amazing breaks! There is right handers and left hander so there is a wave for everyone.
Also there is breaks that works better when its big, and some that works better when its small.

All in all, i was planning on spending 5 days at Nu vin Beach hotel. But now its 4 months ago, and im still here. Sooo its dangerous if you go here beacause its really hard to leave.

We stayed here for one month and had a great experience! The family who runs the hotel is very friendly and helpful, and I would really recommend a stay at Nu Vin. The location is amazing with stairs straight down to the beach, and all rooms have an ocean view!

Fantastic place! The nicest family, great rooms facing the ocean, and nice big garden to relax overlooking the ocean. They also have a generator which is amazing during power cuts.

It was great value for money! Cute family run hotel where everybody is super friendly and helpful. The room was cozy with a big shower and balcony with sea and garden view. It was really nice to chill out on the sun bed with sea view and we started a nice beach walk right from the hotel. Food there was delicious but you can find different restaurants in walking distance and there are surf spots around. Great value for money!

My room, is Super The staff people is absolutely adorable, even before I arrived here, via email they were very helpful. The view from my roomwhat a viewI feel like I am in the ocean all the time. It’s really nice. I walk on the beach every morning, it brings me a lot of calm. I really recommend this place. Thanks for all!
