It is completely undeserved to underrate the rating of a wonderful hotel!

Hotels nearby are much worse and have higher ratings.
This is a wonderful hotel, with a beautiful beach, large grounds, attentive staff and very tasty breakfasts, located in an ideal location, which is good both for relaxation and for traveling around the area.

Great to see one of the oldest hotels in the area being refurbished and looking really good. Love the upgrade and the new look especially the new bar and restaurant area!

One of the best resorts I visited in Srilanka. My room had a beautiful view of the beach and the swimming pool. The property is very clean and well maintained. They are very reasonable. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The property also has direct access to the beach. There are a lot of bars and restaurants around the property. Tuktuk is also available outside the property.

Hotel is good. Ac was not working properly.felt hot inside. No safety provided by Hotel towards Beach side. Dogs disturbing the tourists and the hotel security posted near beach not worried about that.so take care on your own.

Visited this place in 2018. It was our one of the best stays in Sri Lanka. Loved the the ambience, the rooms, the food, the courteous hotel staffs and the brilliant chefs. Absolutely loved the overall experience staying there.

Spent one day in quarantine until PCR report came back negative. Over priced room rates. Insects in room. A pack of food costing maybe Rs 300 for meals. Would not ever go there again

Best Hotel for quarantine. Dedicated Service. As i implementation officer in India for against Covid-19, such a good plan to implement to control it.

Spent 7 days quarantine in this hotel, From checkin to checkout, I must say the staff here are amazing, this includes the army personal on duty at the hotel premises, given the circumstances they still carry on their duties with much positivity. When we needed any supplies they were prompt in delivering or making arrangements to get it for us. When it came to food, the portions were massive, much variety and served fresh! Very delicious! Even the chef would call up to see if we had any dietary requirements and offer to change or give an alternative.
If not for covid, and restrictions, on any normal day this would be an amazing place to visit, great view from the rooms and hospitality at its best!
Rooms will need a bit of touching up when the situation gets better in the future but for now, the service provided by the staff over looks the minor issues. Thank you staff, you all are awsome!

We where there during quarantine about 14 days, rooms are very clumcy and untidy. We have paid morethan 2 laks and its not worthy.we will never ever visit there.poor service

Great location with access to calm Bentota beach line.

Good spread at the breakfast but can be better in taste. The Cafe next to the pool serves amazing food.

This hotels has in-house spa facilities, two swimming pools, lush green lawns with an amazing view to the beach.

The rooms are decent size and airy. Hotel staff is really polite and helpful.

The Bentota railway station is just 2 mins walk from the hotel so one can reach the hotel easily if one takes a train from Colombo.

This is a great hotel for family with kids and elders.

I would definitely recommend it and would love to visit them again.

We had to came to Ekhosurf for quarantine. We never expected such a good hospitality from hotel staff. Our staying was not a normal hotel visit because of the quarantine rules and regulations. When we come to the room everything we wanted was ready and perfectly arranged. Food is good and the F&B Manger was kind enough to follow up with us everyday since i had dietary requirements. Staff was really helpful even we had to call them several times to tell our requests.
Even though it was a quarantine time we never felt burden because the hotel staff took care of everything. Calm place with a beautiful view!

Oh! What a property this is with an amazing view to the Sea.
We just stopped here for the lunch on our tour and we like this place so much most of people from our group decided to stay here and enjoy the evening rather than going for the water sports.
We found lot of people takin bath/Swimming here in the sea.
Water is clean and mostly all the rooms are with Sea view.
One can also do water sports here.

In lunch we had a buffet here. But finally found a place in Sri Lanka which had number of vegetarians sweets options.

In case if I ever come again to Srilanka I'll definitely visit this place again.

There is a lady at the reception who is not st all nice the management and staff especially front office including security personnel need to respect people they are very rude and not nice at all. The lady especially because she come to work in an SUV or dropped off by one is very proud, no guest service at all. Why can't the owners get rid of staff like this, the rules in the front of the hotel is too strict, no guidance for parking, dont recommend this hotel to any guest, as they are very bad in service standards and have a very big ego. My friends were also not happy to stay here. Bad service all around.

I has visited Ekho Surf in the month of December. This beach touch property is really impressive. Their ambience is so good. Rooms are spacious with sea facing balcony. They have two swimming pools and 3 restaurants. There were Karaoke night when we had our stay. Breakfast was delicious and with variety of items. Staff is very courteous and friendly. Overall we had a great stay here.

Worst hotel.no locks in bathroom.told us to shift to different floor when the other family members are on the same floor.not worth the price.very bad experience

At the first sight you will see beautiful hotel on a nice beach.the same time was quite disappointed with poor service and high prices. Wouldn't stay longer than day or two.

What a fabulous hotel. Great food, amenities and wonderful staff. Every room has uninterrupted views of the beautiful ocean
