The Pasta Factory

We were able to enjoy a very delicious lunch at the Pasta Factory. We had pasta & bruschetta. It felt like you were in Italy.

A great restaurant, it was very tasty there. Were there 3 times.
Homemade pasta, you can see and taste it straight away. Perfect lasagna.

The owner and the team were very friendly.

Amazing gluten free pasta. I came here three days in a row.

All three days I was at the pasta factory, there was no homemade gluten-free tagliatelle (even though in a chat message with the restaurant, I had been told there was some before arriving). I don't mind, because the penne was great, but just to inform future customers.

Loved it here. We had the bruschetta and the creamy mushroom/bacon pasta. Both really tasty. Our waiter Jassim was great as well!

When was the last time you had that handmade authentic Italian Pasta? Craving one?
This is the place to be.once you have had the original Italian Pasta that is freshly handmade, you would never want to go back to packaged versions anymore.
A must try place while in Galle!

Dinner at the Pasta Factory was good it was a quiet time of the year.service was good, food was good.it wasn't air conditioned so was a little bit uncomfortable.overall a good dining experience with authentic Italian pasta

Surprisingly great hidden gem in Sri Lanka! Pasta is homemade and ingredients are sourced from Italy.

Bar the mozzarella (which definitely wasn't real mozzarella), the pasta was delicious and loved the added sri lankan spice. Great place, great value!

We ordered 2 pasta dishes which were out of this world. The best pasta ive ever had for sure.

Being Italian really doesn't mean you can cook. Worst food we had. Inedible. The spinach and ricotta ravioli was so thick, the filling tasted really bad with a strong earth tasting local srilankan spinach. The texture and dough the ravioli was made from was super thick and it was chewy and left a rubber texture. We wouldn't finish.
The Gorgonzola gnocchi with walnuts tasted rotten. The aglio e olio tasted bitter. No proper seasoning in any of the dishes. Gnocchi was also chewy and had a raw texture to it.

A nice place to enjoy authentic Italian pasta in Galle.
I tried ravioli, pasta and coffee latte as a hot beverage and Ice Moka as a cold beverage.
The meals were so yummy.
They have a home made pasta and a home made sauce and that combination is great.
The staff is very friendly and serves the order as soon a they can. It may take some time to prepare them because they start prepare the meals after we place the order.

At the day I visited there (2022-11-05) cards wasn’t accepted by them. Only cash.

The price is something expensive but it is worthy because it is authentic Italian and the unique taste of the meals.

We spend a really good moment. The food was really good and the staff really kind. Thank you and we will come back.

How fun to see a couple from two cultures marry a passion for Italian cooking with the ingredients of southern Sri Lanka. Mangala's gentle charm and love of Sri Lanka, paired with Paola's artisinal cooking skills and love for Italian technique shine through with thoughtful dishes and sincere service. The meal could not have been more delightful.

I am in love with the atmosphere and all the decoration which can be found in the restaurant! The food we have ordered was delicious and the staff very friendly!

Bring your own wine, free of charge to being your own wine along from the wine store. They don't have a license yet. The pasta is all amazing struggled to pick one. Nice touch of focaccia to start with lovely olive oils and balsamic vinegar. Highly recommended this spot for your Italian fix in Sri Lanka

Reheated lasagna from the microwave. Was hoping for a real Italian experience but left disappointed.
