Villa Thawthisa The Boutique Hotel

The only good thing about the hotel is the view from the verandah of the hotel. It's located atop a small hill about 10 minutes climb from the main lane. The rooms are nice but see that the ACs and other electronic gadgets are working.
The main drawback of the hotel is lack of management. They are understaffed, but the staff are extremely cooperative, hard working and polite. Special mention for the girl called Sandlia. She is an asset.
The other drawback is the restaurant. The food is pathetic. They do not have any trained chef or cook.
Overall this hotel has a long way to go.

Dayouting package is not worth for the price.

We went there for a dayout with a pack of 5. They did not provide any changing rooms so we had to pay and get a room. Per person they asked to pay 8000 for lunch and tea with pool access.
The lunch was not a buffet but a set menu. In the evening they provide us tea without any snacks. That tea was also watery.
But the pool area was good.
This place is not worthy for that price.

Villa Tawthisa was very special as I appreciated its tranquility and the service of the staff was excellent. I like it very much because it is located in a beautiful peaceful environment. I highly recommend Villa Tawthisa for excellent service and an beautiful location.

We. Myself and my wife were in the hotel for one night.
You can’t watch TV. No signal. We can’t use phones no signal.
Room was not clean at all.
Then they change room and replaced linen.
No intercome system.
Few workers attached to kitchen was little ok.
Everything was poor and not recommending as a four star hotel to reserve.
One of my bad experiences.

We had a great time at this villa. Beautiful place, very kind staff. Malshan was amazing, always quick to help - truly made our stay here memorable.

The room was not great. The sheets were not washed felt really uncomfortable in the room. Some of the light were hanging out of the ceiling. The hotel feels ols and not maintained. Would recommend for a family. The picture are very misleading. For the price paid, it was not worth it.

Superb hotel with fantastic view. Has booked this hotel for one night in the weekend. Hotel staff was superb. They have fantastic service. Diluksh and Sewwandi helped us with stay their. Food was delicious. Don't hesitate to book again.

Since it was closed for operation during past coupl of years their are some refurbishment need to be done. And would like to suggest some add some lights around pool area so can use pool at night.

Beautiful place. Breathtaking location. The best place to relax your mind. The time of the pool was the best time we experienced during our stay. Friendly staff and really good food. Highly recommended.

Food was good. Rooms are not as expected and not what you see in the photos. Some staff members doesn't even greet or smile. And they even charge for extra water bottles.

Location was good but the maintenance of the hotel was terrible.we paid for 3 nights and went to the location via Agoda app and when we visit to the location we are suprised that "is this the place we saw in the Agoda app photos " dont waste your money here.

* Only 3 or 4 channels are activated with Peo TV
* Foods also not okay as we expected (as per the cost)
* Room service also terrible (manager said that they are new to the hotel)
* best thing is Hand shower of of the Comed is attached on left side

Overall this place is not okay with the prices ️️ dont waste your time and money with @Agoda Application also. ️️

Stunning hotel with excellent cuisine, large, comfortable, stylish rooms, gorgeous sea views. When I come to Sri Lanka next time - I will certainly choose it again.

Went there a while back and this was beyond appaling place. Rooms were not well maintained and this was nothing as shown in the pictures. Seems to be understaffed.

Only good thing was the breakfast which was comparatively better.

The property is looking good.friendly staff.but low maintenance and low staff being seen.need to improve management. Not comfortable for honeymoon. It's suitable for boys outing
