Yaya Kabalana

I have come here twice because I like it so much. I would certainly have come more often if I had discovered it before:) Sitting upstairs on the terrace and enjoying your drink or food is just wonderful. The prawn salad is just great and definitely worth a try:) The staff is very friendly and speaks English very well, so it's easy to communicate. Very happy to come back next time I visit Ahangama:)

What a fantastic place at Kabalana beach! Yaya restaurant is run by Yaya and Shehan. With their twist on traditional and international dishes they have made a nice combo of all kinds of delicious authentic food!
I like the taste and presentation of the rice and curry, the ice latte and the juices!
Yaya has a nice roof top restaurant, beautiful at sunsets and a garden surrounded by banana and coconut trees. You get that jungle feeling right away!

When you are in Kabalana it is a MUST to visit the restaurant for breakfast after surfing or for a delicious lunch or evening meal!

Shehan and Yaya who run this place are so sweet and caring, the food is always prepared with love and everything is super yummy. This place has a unique atmosphere, something exceptional, fun, just something you visit once and end up hanging out here every day for the rest of your stay

Finally we found the best coffee in Sri Lanka not only the drinks and foods are amazing but Yaya and Sehan are the kindest people in the area, they are soulful and lovely hosts
