Little Tamarind

Our family of four stayed 3 days at the Little Tamarind and we enjoyed every moment. Our room was spacious and very comfortable with an amazing view of the ocean from a large balcony, and the feeling to be in a unique natural environment. The staff was very welcoming and cooked us delicious breakfasts and dinners. We also ate at a small restaurant nearby, which was recommended by the hotel, and enjoyed amazing fresh seafood. The beach is one of the most beautiful we’ve ever seen, with picture-perfect golden sand and coconut trees, and not crowed at all! We had lots of fun in the waves and wished we could have stayed there longer!

A magical place in a middle of the jungle, a real nature experience! The location is perfect just a couple of minutes walk from the most beautiful and swimmers friendly beach in Sri Lanka (Silent beach).
The panoramic suite is very lagurious with a balcony that observes the whole area, probably the highest point of view around here.
The staff ia very friendly especially the manager who is sweet and attentive, she was of a great help to recommand us the best spots around.
Food is healthy and the yoga terrace is increadble, with all the equipment needed and a tranquil view. For all the yoga lovers, this is a great place for some relaxing practice

This small, intimate hotel probably had the best views of Sri Lanka. From the rooms and restaurant you see a small village tucked away in a lush jungle-like vegetation, with the ocean behind. It makes you staring to the horizon all day.

The rooms are very well done. Simple but sophisticated, all have private terraces. There are no AC's, but the rooms are partly open. So, at night you feel a cool sea breeze. And, more importantly, you really feel in nature.

An idyllic beach is just a few minutes walk away.

The staff is very helpful and attentive. We had some issues with our car and they did everything in their power to help.

We stayed here in August, low season because of the monsoon period. Despite some short occasional showers, the weather didn't bother us at all. Maybe it is just as good as the dry season, because there is always a gentle breeze and the temperatures are lower.

Highly recommended.

We had just a wonderful time at Little Tamarind. The place is gorgeous, the team welcoming and attentionate, Silent Beach is marvelous. We stayed four nights, and so wish we could have stayed for longer, but it was saddly time to fly home. We will be back. I know we will make it back, soon!

Excellent host, perfect rooms, comfortable, spacious, stylish, good colours, classy. Marvelous private balconies. Helpful, kind staff, the best breakfast in sri Lanka. Especially home made passion fruit jam. Laundry done perfectly and on timer. You don't have to worry about anything there, u feeling pure holidays there.
