Coco Royal Beach Resort

Except the location rest of the things about the hotel were pretty average, even basic toiletries were missing. The breakfast was below average with limited options and same goes for the dinner as well. The reached the hotel at 5pm and still the rooms were not ready. There is no wifi available in the rooms, being a 4 star property these are some bare minimum amenities someone can expect.

The rooms are good, although a little tired, the pool is cool, the breakfasts are great and filling. A beach with a small cliff to the ocean, I didn’t care about it, but it’s important to someone.

Stayed here during my quarantine period. Not happy with the standards of the rooms. Shower wasn’t working properly, taps were rusted and had a poor stream. Air conditioning wasn’t working appropriately as well. Food is not that great either.

Only good thing is I could get a room with a sea view in the 3rd floor which is amazing during the sunset. Wifi is alright.

Not satisfied with the money paid.

Would not be going back again.

We visited coco royal beach resort as a group of 40 members in 2017.resort's location was pleasant.food was really nice.you can see many couples from various countries.
I recommend this place.

I came here as quarantine guest. With the First look of the bathtub it was super dirty. Bed clothes and pillow clothes suppose to be white but it’s more yellow as far as I’m concerned. After in the matter of laundry they are not providing any. Ask us to wash by hand.absurd management for a this kind of hotel. However staff is trying their best to give satisfying service.

Only the hotel needs refurbishment. I suppose because it is now ment for quarantine guests it is not an option.

While my journey from London to Colombo, I was sent here for quarantine purpose under government regulations. The administrative team and the hosting staff were so helpful thrroughout my whole stay about seven days in the premises. Hardest to believe is they, from top manager to the room service guy too called me and inquired about my situation after reach my home.

Fabulous treatment to the guest with utmost respectful hospitality. I am currently under quarantine at this resort arrived in Sri Lanka on 1st March. Though the property was converted to a quarantine centre, the staff & management take well care of their guests with five meals per day along with the flexibility of getting your meal delivered based on the guest's special medical needs. Authentic Asian cuisine with close attention from the staff makes you feel at home. I strongly recommend the resort purely based on its tremendous services, care and attention.

What a amazing beach resort. Beautiful full place to visit in Lanka. Wonderful staff kind service. No words to describe 4 times meals. I never ever tasted mouthwatering food. Even in quarantine time I don’t feel my loneliness.keep up your goodness Servise.

Its an awesome place for a holiday, The best food item was the Mixed nonveg fried rice it was so delicious and yummy we all loved it and ofcourse the red chutney powder which they gave was also very tasty. I wish if they can send a parcel of that friedrice and chutney.mouth watering.

They rent out the hall for weddings but guests are not allowed to access beach. Haven't faced such a discrimination recently at anyother hotel. Very poor customer service.

Basic, clean and spacious room with a small veranda overlooking a palm lined lawn. Only down turn on the all inclusive is the diet (sugar free) drinks are surcharged.

Had a bad experience. Went there on a promotion. Booked a triple room. We were given a room after about 1.5hr wait and was given a room with patches and marks on the floor. Best part is there was a double bed and another mattress kept on another mattress. This is where the 3rd person should sleep according to the hotel. When I ask the reception and the manager, that's what they said. Photos are attached. So I had to call the head office, marketing manager to sort out the problem and to bring down an extra bed. Food was not tasty and there was not much choices too, in the buffer. Not recommended.

2 stars for a hotel that should have max 2 stars. Only thing that was acceptable was the food (withs deserve 4 stars). We payed for all inclusive, and was hugely disappointed that only some drinks are included. Mostly local drinks, all other drinks like diet drinks are extra. Internet was barely functional and only accessible in lobby or at pool. Beach is just outside the hotel but you get jumped by sellers as as soon as you leave hotel area. No sun chairs available at beach.

A nice hotel food lovely and plenty of choice we are in garden rooms basic lovely comfy bed and agood size.pool and sunbathing clean and beach towels too. Now about trips go with ASYA tours we have been on 4 trips and one overnightstay in a5 star hotel it dosent matter who you get as guide kamil and silver were great and prasad and steven.fab trips. Dont go with rep it will cost twice as much again Asya tours is over railway track outside hotel. We are still here and enjoying the hotel

Worst 4 star resort i have ever been to.no wifi in the rooms. The wifi is only in lobby and pool which is always showing full.the amenities provided are very basic and not worth the money you pay.the staff is very nom adjusting

This resort is located near by the beach. The resort is well designed & the guests are treated well. The food is amazing. We stayed for 2 days & we enjoyed to the core. The private beach is well maintained.
