It really is glass! The view from the upper deck is fabulous! Very well maintained! Nice and clean! An artists dream! Can spend hours and hours just watching the view of the Victoria lake over the well lit pool! Not so warm not so cold, just right for a relaxing holiday!

We had a really good experience at Glasshouse. Rooms are spacious include my all the facilities and view was breathtaking. Infinity pool with a view of the victoria lake.

An amazing property with a spectacular view from the upper floor and poolside.

The rooms were comfy and welcoming. The staff were polite and warm. Food was delicious. No complaints. The upper floor was where we hung out most. This is a great place to go to with a group of friends. Will definitely recommend.

I’ve stayed in this beautiful house many times and can highly recommend the accommodation, the food and the wonderful staff that are there for your every need. The area has some stunning views, great walks, a golfers dream, horse riding etc.simply love the place.

Glasshouse is a splendour, giving you wrath of experience from chill by the pool for an evening cocktail with an infinity view of Victoria nearby to an early morning stroll around the surrounding gardens.
You have your own butler/Chef who would make your stay cozy as possible. The accommodation are grand with spacious suites overlooking the garden and water.

It’s only a stone throw away (there are many stones in between) Victoria Golf Course, hike up Knuckles, and for a cultural experience at Bambaragala temple.

Owners of this property have carefully designed this property to cater for that perfect getaway experience!

We have had the good fortune to travel extensively over the years throughout South East Asia, India and Sri Lanka as well as N. Z.and Australia with the added good fortune to stay in excellent accommodation. The Glasshouse is the only hotel or residence to which we have made a second visit. Our first was as a party of six and the second as a party of four, both visits being delightful for all. The location is isolated and beautiful, which is part of its charm, and the property is palatial, luxurious with top class facilities and well served by attentive staff. The food is outstanding in a nation of delightful food. For lovers of nature, walking, photography and peace we heartily recommend it.

What a truly amazing property this is! We had a sensational stay here in September 2019 and couldn’t have wished for a better experience. The huge living space at the top of the house is magnificent and all the bedrooms and bathrooms have everything you could want for a luxurious stay. There are wonderful views from the lounge and the large outdoor swimming pool, which is another delight. Do stay here if you possibly can, you will not be disappointed.

An exotic retreat in exotic surroundings. A place to retreat and relax, or play golf, hike, horse ride, lounge in a salt water pool with breathtaking views.
Definitely a memorable stay, highly recommended for nature lovers.

The villa has a stunning view and the rooms are specious and clean. However, here is my takes about the property for my 3-night family stay:
1- They are very cheap only one water per room though the booking is for 8 people and they only give it once though we had the villas for 3 nights. Please note that they will enter the villa at any time without notice to turn off lights and fans.
2- The pool water is very cold and has no heater
3- The internet does not work though we informed the property manager.
4- The road to the villa is not paved and hard to get to. In addition, its 45min away from Kandy center.
5- The property manager is rude and has no experience how to deal with guests and at one moment threaten to kick us out because he thought we had one more adult.
6- The lady serving us was very nice and tried to help in anyway possible.
With better management the villa could worth the stay.

Place was a bit hard to get too, but the view was fantastic from the pool, overlooking the Victorian dam. The service was great as well however bats sometimes make an appearance. But make sure to close doors after like 5, Then everything should be fine. Pool sides should be fixed as it some of our friends got cut on the side of the pool. But overall it was a fantastic experience. Good place if you want to get away from the busy city.

We found the place by coincident and insist in having it. The villa has 3 huge rooms with bathrooms in each, big setting area and fabulous swimming pool and unbelievable view. It has its own butler. The place is great for parties and maybe for those who are looking for privacy as it's away from the city, but if you cannot live without A/C and are scared of insects then stay away and find a resort in Kandy
