Hotel Tree of Life Nature Resort

It's a nature resort and the you can see a wide array of foliage and birds in it's expansive gardens.

Some of the nature (mainly insects) are not my favorite, but came included in 'nature'.

Though it was a lean time for the hotel the buffet was good with variety and taste.

We were part of a group and hotel has helped organize a new year celebration with games etc.

All in all a nice experience.

The resort is clearly showing its age and looks run down in some areas. But the service and the food were fantastic. For some meals, there were just 3 other guests, yet the hotel staff were fantastic and the food was extremely good. Not sure how all rooms were, but the room I was in was clean, well appointed and comfortable.

Tree of life I visit yesterday. On 23 january 2022. The place was closed nearly two years of time or more. Very natural surrounding covered with a lots of trees, wild annimal movement etc. Hotel and baquet is located in two different places.

Excellent atmosphere very calm and quiet. Kind hospitality and high quality service of the staff. A lovely place to relax and unwind for a while, away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life

Nice place to visit for someone like nature, It really gives the hillcity feeling. And the food is so delecious for a reasonable price. Also the staff is very friendly.

Bit old hotel which has a reception hall that you can book for functions. Rooms available for a stay as well

Hotel was spread in a large area so there are plenty of room in it so lots of parking slots available here. Staff was friendly

This is now little older. And not like other star class hotels. Ok for the price. There are few villas which seems to be added recently, Those may better than normal rooms.

One of best hotel in Kandy who loves nature. Hotel is nearly 15 km away from Kandy City. Hotel have facilited with pool, rooms, restaurant and spa. Ideal for honeymoon couples, get togethers and day outs. Own vehicles recommend since no public transport is not available for last 2-3 Kms.

We have been to this hotel many years ago. We visited the resort two weeks ago. This is our second visit with family. It's a beautiful hotel but may be due to the covid situation the resort has not been maintained for some time especially the garden. May be due to lack of staff we only got our rooms after 2pm. We checked in the same day for lunch. It would be nice if they could clean the rooms before the guests arrive. The food was delicious. The pool was nice and clean. It's a peaceful and calm atmosphere to spend a family vacation.

Everything is up to the standard. But no wifi available for rooms, restuarent or any other place. No peo tv, or dialog tv. So bring the movies or tv series you want

I liked to say that the special meal of tree of life hotel was fantastically awesome all the time i have ordered. All the ingredients was pperfectly matched. This is one of the best meal i have ever tried. Thank you for serving this much delicious meals. ️

My self, husband and two kids booked a villa to stay on half board basis on April 16th 2021. Hotel premises was charming, with full of nature's blessings.
But the management seems to be absurd, we got the booked villa around 5.30pm after inquiring several times, and they were not worried to give us a call before arriving to inform the delay and atleast management was not polite enough to apologize for the mistake. What they told was "the previous guests had a late check out! "
Though the place is a nature resort even by its name, there was a group of about 20 on that day, making lot of noise! Some loud music even at the pool! I personally think management should reconsider this type of behavior, allowing the nature lovers to enjoy a nature resort.
Food was average and ground staff was friendly trying to give a maximum service but seems to be struggling with less staff.
Any way this was our second visit to this place, with lovely memories of 12 years back, but surely there won't be a third visit!

We have been to Tree Of Life Hotel some years ago and were very happy with the place and service. Decided to visit again, but was disappointed as room and washroom were not very clean, and there was a musty smell in the room and we had to tell them to clean again when we entered. I understand, that the hotel had been closed for sometime due to Covid, but it would be good if before guests arrive everything is cleaned well and thoroughly checked. Food of course was really good and very tasty. The nature around the hotel has always been my favourite, when visiting this place and enjoyed my long walks around the property. The staff were very good and very helpful, specially the restaurant staff

Tree of life Kandy Sri Lanka. An old hotel but they have maintained during Covid also. Still need more attention to garden. The Architecture still exists for 2021 also. Lovely nice place for isolation. Good food and staff. We had a nice family gathering (Avurudu).

We called the restaurant in the morning and asked if we could use the pool and the bar.then we were informed that we can.
But when we arrived security didn’t let us in. I was very offended. I thought the hotel must be busy. Anyway I called the number on the website and got in somehow. But as we arrived place looked very unorganised. No one was interested to take our order as they just completely ignored us. And the bartender wasn’t there aswell so we had to wait another 40 mins for him to arrive.
Tables weren’t cleaned either.

I would suggest the owner of this place to have more attention to these details get more staff and be more professional.
