A good spot for people stopping by. Decent food although a bit pricey for the area, mostly because it's a very touristy step for travellers.

Have visited this place from about 15 years back when it was catering to local clientèle where the rice & Curry was exceptionally tasty. Later they changed the model to buffet to cater to foreigners and taste suffered. This time I visited though I was warned not to by others and found buffet was dispensed with but set menu of rice & Curry was just bland and tasteless. Chicken curry with 4 more dishes which were simply tasteless. Cost Rs. 1,200 each but not worth Rs. 400. We will not visit saruketha again. Lit of new places abound.

We had juice and some drinks. We also got a sea food fried rice for another person. He said his food was great. This is a nice place.

Average restaurant. The only reason we stopped here is because the taxi driver suggested it. It seems like the driver gets free food if he brings customers in.
The lack of customers should have been a warning to go elsewhere!
Food is expensive, not great quality compared to most of the other places we ate at.
We had the pork curry and rice. Pork was hard and mostly bones and fat with very little meat. Poor quality rice with a strange taste. Vegetables served were just about okay.
The napkin came nicely folded but had stains and food particles on it and had not been washed before being reused!
It is a tourist trap and preferably avoided. Will definitely not stop here again!

Very nice place to stop and have a drink in front of the rice fields. Buffet, good value for money. Magnificent views.

I found the restaurant far too expensive. It was nice to sit down, but there are better places. Toilet was very run down.

Very convenient location right next to the Yaggapitiya highway exit (Last exit on the central highway as of July 2022).
Great food, very relaxing open and indoor dining spaces. Family friendly.

The place was not very clean. The table mats, cutleries and even the plates were scratched and dirty. Toilets were horrible. The were not maintained properly. Food was also not upto the standard. Not worth the money you spend for.
The location is nice and calm. Also the staff is friendly. I wouldn't recommend this place if you're looking for good food and cleanliness.

This is right after you exit from the highway from Yaggahapitiya. The property is very echo friendly and clean. Food is clean and tasty.however the prices are bit on the expensive side.

My recent visit to this place was a quite unpleasant experience. Previously they had a separate place for the people who are taking liquor and a separate place for the families. So the families could enjoy their meal peacefully without mingling with the drunkards. But recently they have allowed to take liquor in the same restaurant area, where the families take their meals. As a result of that, bringing a toddler to such a place for a family meal is quite embarrassing. Meals are also not reasonable for their price and overall this place is not recommended, specially for families.

Designed to look like an old traditional village house with clay walls and thatched roofs, this restaurant serves quite good food at reasonable prices.

Good and friendly manager ️, very ambient lighting and we'll maintained property. Washrooms were very clean and the food was delicious too. Very much relaxing.

Excellent food and superb service. The location and the vibe is so relaxed and eco friendly atmosphere.

It seems like a nice place to dine in, with friendly staff. But my very first experience turned out to be a disaster. While passing by, we stopped here for breakfast and the staff admitted us with with warm welcome. They said we can order anything from their Ala carte menu but after a while they informed us that they're unable to provide us breakfast. It was quite disappointing as they didn't inform us when we questioned at the time of entering the place. Hope the management will take this criticism positively and ensure this doesn't happened to anyone else.

Nice, cool and clam place for hangout with family members. Food and service satisfied. Cleanness and some arrangements must be improved. Food potion value for money. Some menu items will not provide at the moment.

I personally know this place kitchen has really bad habbits, Here are some
1. Raw and Cooked meet are in the same place
2. The Oil is really burned just as like tar, Cooking every time again and again, This is really bad for health.
3. Kitchen is not cleaned at all

These are not visible to outside but inside it has really bad cooking practices,

If you need to look the truth please take a look at the kitchen, This is 2020 December update. Hope this will change soon (But mostly this won't be changed they practiced this from a long time)
