We went during 2023 December.
Ample parking for 30-40 vehicles out side the place. But you have to walk nearly 500m.
The place is so calm as it’s somewhat in the middle of a forest. Army is securing the place all the time. You have to drive nearly 10km from Mannar-Medawachchi road which was bit lonely. There were boards saying elephants are crossing but didn’t came across such during day hours.

Fair place to stay. Bit mosquitoes. Rooms are neat and nice but the bathrooms if maintained well would have been better

But what truly sets this hotel apart is the superb service. Every member of the staff, especially the manager Charitha goes out of their way to make you feel welcome and ensure you have a fantastic experience. Charity's warm smile and friendly demeanor are an absolute asset to the hotel.
And let's not forget the food! The on-site dining is simply delicious, with fresh, flavorful dishes that tantalize your taste buds. Every meal was a true pleasure.
Overall, this hotel is a hidden gem waiting to be discovered. With its unique lodging, exceptional service, and fantastic food, it's the perfect place for a relaxed and memorable stay near Madu Church. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique and charming hotel experience!

Went there 2023 December.

The rooms were very neat and clean. Location has enough parking for 10 vehicles. Location is like 5-10 mins away from Mannar town.
Much worth for the price and great location to take a break after a long ride. Hot water shower is available but the kettle was not provided (or any tea packets).
Owner was kind enough to prepare tea for us around 7.30 am in the morning. (500 rs)
I saw that they have a small dining area and I assume they prepare meals also.

Near the mannar town the Mannar Guest House is located. As my feel their service is good. Rooms also middle level. But no doubt. But if you are looking, beautiful and calm environment this place will not match for you. You can cutomize room according to your team capacity and if you are want to dine in area this place offer that with kitchen.

Well preserved fort, no tickets required you can just walk-in as of now (24/dec/2023). Beautiful photo location.

The entire stay was excellent including the accommodations, food etc. Due to the bad weather, some of the tracks to the rooms were flooded but the management had taken required actions on it to minimize the difficulties. Overall, I will highly recommend this.
