Mannar Guest House

Near the mannar town the Mannar Guest House is located. As my feel their service is good. Rooms also middle level. But no doubt. But if you are looking, beautiful and calm environment this place will not match for you. You can cutomize room according to your team capacity and if you are want to dine in area this place offer that with kitchen.

We were placed in a room that was not cleaned.
The degree of disrepair is visible in the photo.
We had to ask for a blanket, toilet paper, soap and towels.
The woman brought everything reluctantly.
A dissatisfied woman served.
There is no Wi-Fi.
There is no hot water.

Welcome us with love and whenever we want to go on our way, run to us and leave the door open, not only to send us on our way! After knowing that I am a wildlife photographer, if you go here you can get that bird and if you go there you can get this bird.

Vampire Patry at night with mosquitoes, even when asked about that, Owner some arrogant person that will take your passport to copy. Close to bus station.
Pay more and take other place, where is nothing, unfortunately the city hay zero to offer you!

Air conditioned nice and clean room. The guest house 200M away from Mannar main bus stand, close Mannar town. Manager of the guest house living in the basement is very welcoming and friendly. You should bring your bedsheets and covers as the ones provided are not so good. For the price of 4000/- per day If you are looking for a budget room for short stay this place will suit you.

Not very clean, the bed sheets were just a weird cover which felt not very good at the skin (I slept on my towel).
The A/C room is way to expensive! Normally people would ask for 300 LKR per day, he wanted 3000 LKR per day, this is absolutely overpriced.
We rented a scooter, my friend luckily asked if the rent is for 24h, so we were exact with the time, still he tried to get more money from us.
There was also some other stuff we really didn’t like do we would not recommend this guesthouse…

Don't expect a Deluxe room in here. This is a budget room for Deluxe price. We asked for white bedsheets and there's blue patches all around. Cloth hanger is dusty. But it is close to the city

Not good place. Bath rooms are quite old and water systems are not working. Food is average and not tasty

Calm and cleaned place to stay. Rooms are facilitate with AC also. The owner is a good man and he can speak Sinhala, Tamil and English also. 3min walking distance to mannar bus stand and to the town. This place offer meals but should order before.

Mannar Guest House has a unique architecture with a multitude of colours. It is located in a maze of Mannar's side-roads but is close to the centre of the town. The rooms are air-conditioned and comfortable but our room didn't have windows which made it somewhat claustrophobic. The owner is pleasant and helpful, even storing my stash of beers in his office fridge. Only breakfast is served, but it's a short walk along the byways to town where we had the best roast chicken Kotthu Rotti and Colombo Pilawoos cafe.

Decent place spend the night in Mannar.
They have triple and double rooms with AC. Provide meals as well.

Clean and available car parking, very near to town, all kinds of traditional foods items for order.

Food was tasty and rooms would have been much better with little improvements to its bath rooms
