The Elephant Corridor / Ayugiri Ayurveda Wellness Resort Sigiriya

Beautiful, quite place with an excellent view of the Sigiriya Rock. Situated right next to a hidden lake, it’s 72 acres of bliss. They have a decent size pool, a sweet restaurant with very accommodating staff and a bar we didn’t visit. David, the hotel GM in charge went out of his way to make our stay memorable.

best bar with billiards, card games, carom, karaoke, music.
You can watch wild elephants very safely.
Riding ATV is the best experience I got.

Wowww! One of the most beautiful destinations we have ever visited. So many activities at one place! Beautiful environment Very friendly staff with great food and service! Definitely recommend anyone to stay over for at least three nights to get all experience!

I writing this comment with utter dissapointment, which I thought I could write a very possitive comment upon visiting. The nature experience is exceptional. Starting with food, the food served ordering through room service menu was very good, interms of presentation, tast, quality and quantity. But food serve at the resturent is tastless, low in quality. For example they served biriyani with only an egg with chicken gravy.when I inquire I was told biriyani doesnt have any meat item. The next day when I order at the restaurant, I was thoroughly went through the order and question them what I receive in the meal. But when the food arrived its another flop, my husband said you can get better fried rice for rupees 100 from the road. No meat item, side dishes are owful. Room is big, nicely organized but punchpool light isnot working so cannot used at night. Toilet light was gone half way, my little son asking to turn the light up. All the time in the bathroom. Finally, room service guy and the front office manager try to cheat us and take more money. Didnt give a bill. ThTherefore, although we thought of staying another day after arriving, we expelled that Idea. To sum up, kitchen staff us stealing from food and managers are also helping them. I have put all these in customers review form and would contact owners son in Australia to inform this.

Without a single doubt, this is one of the best stays of mine from everywhere I have been to. The hotel was far better than I have heard and amenities were far more than expected. This for sure is one of the greatest escapes with family if you are looking for leisure. Quiet, peaceful, clean, and simply amazing. The meals were so yummy and so worth it. Everything from the pool, plunge pool, bath room with bath tub, space, drawing facilities for kids and everything was just perfect. Won't think twice to get there for another stay. The staff was super friendly. Highly recommend this place.

We stayed for our honeymoon. It was a wonderful place with good food and great staff. We opted for private pool room. It was a great experience stying inside a jungle. Wonderful hotel. Will surely come back again

I can't really describe how nice this hotel is.it's really special. The huts are modern and huge with enourmous full wall windows overlooking the natural landscape. Aircon is great. Theres a bar and restaurant and massage services and more but it was fairly quiet when i visited. Theres a tree house with a dining table if you want a private romantic meal.

Good resort with beautiful views of sigiriya rock.area of the property is huge.friendly staff.very pleasant calm atmosphere. Food was average. However need some improvement for the present sytle in washrooms, swimming pool restaurants etc. Felt not woth for FBL LKR 26K.

Unique hotel complex with cosy bungalows. Spacious attractive rooms, fabulous views, quiet stay in the nature. The food was good, restaurant perfect with views of Sigiriya in the distance. Personnel is very kind, attentive.
