Agbo Hotel, Lake side, Giritale, Sri Lanka

I stayed in this place for one night and their service was amazing. Staff members were very friendly and provided a great service. We went to the restaurant for dinner and breakfast and they also offered great delicious food. The hotel located in a very nice location. The only concern we had is their rooms looked old, arm chairs were not cleaned properly. Hotel maintenance was not good and when we spoke to the staff they were open to feedback and said they are having a hard time due to the continuous rain.

A pleasant stay at this beautiful hotel. The view of the lake from our room was amazing. The rooms are clean, staff are courteous & helpful. They go that extra mile to assist you & nothing is too much for them. The food was delicious. The only issue I had was that the shower area was extremely slippery. Maybe, placing a rubber mat in the shower area would be good to prevent someone slipping & probably having a nasty fall. All in all an excellent stay at this beautiful location.

Stayed at Agbo with my family last week, and very much willing to visit again. The rooms were very clean and large with all required facilities. Bathrooms also were very clean, spacious and with good hot water/pressure. Kalpani at the FO and the OM, Tharanga were very attentive for all our requirements. Great place to stay.

The meals were delicious and the room s were clean and quite.the service was also very polite. Prices also very reasonable. There is a very beautiful view of Girithale Lake. Recommended Hotel Agbo at anyone for a great stay in pleasant atmosphere.

A simple place with a great experience. The place is so cool with the help of friendly and supportive staff. Clean and quiet environment facing the Giritale lake. Facilities are satisfactory and the rates are quite reasonable.

We stayed 12-14th of November with them with my family. The stay was excellent. The food was delicious, very spacious and clean rooms. The staff was super helpful and friendly. The safari they arranged for us to see the elephants was the highlight of our tour. It is a must go. Highly recommend the Agbo Hotel, Giritale.

We stayed, 2 nights at the agbo hotel. Food and other beverages are very delicious. The staff was very helpful, friendly. They give their service for customers in honoursly.

Rooms are very spacious, and the service is very good compared to the other hotels which are in the same price range and the same area. There's a very beautiful view of Girithale Lake, which can be seen from any room. Also their dinner buffet is also very good but with limited food selection. Given this price range, every room has a hair dryer, a minibar, which is a plus.

I haven't stayed the night, but I have been here for dinner with the family.

The dinner buffet, although a tad bit pricey, is pretty worth it.

Their dinner service is also pretty good. Agbo is easily one of the best places to have a nice dinner with the family.

Had a two days stay with HB. The hotel is situated in the roadside of Girithalea Polonnaruwa Road. From hotel there is like 15km ride to the Polonnaruwa Town. Service is very good at the hotel. Staff is very friendly. If you order something they will deliver it in no time. We ordered all the food we're delivered to the room and it was served in on time without a minute delay. Hotel is very close to the Girithalea Lake. Rooms starting from 2xx has good views of the lake. Only hassle is there are 20 -30 steps to the rooms. Rooms are very spacious.

Good place to stay on your way to polonnaruwa. Food was excellent and the staff members are friendly. Rooms are spacious and well arranged.

Beautiful place with swimming pool and average size rooms
But managment is very bad not caring customers we stayed there one night in full board basis they served us lunch which was prepared to some other function at there banquet hall same happened dinner there were another party and ask us to have dinner at that function we refused even manger not attended to the case not recommended this place

Agbo hotel located in land side of Main road to Habarana - Pollonnaruwa road. It's very calm and percent environment.
Food was really nice.affordable price range.friendly supportive staff. Rooms are clean well maintained.nice view to the Girithale tank
