WiFi doesn't work and they don't feel way too busy to check it. There was also a mouse on my bed. On the floor was mouse's poop a lot too. I changed the room, which had the same problem. Staff didn't care until I wanted to cancel the booking. The guy who runs the place doesn't seem so honest person eather. He called for us tuktuk and the driver (his brother) tried to take bigger prices too at the beging. Luckily we found new place where everything was pleasent.

It was once a good hotel, it’s clear that they did their best, but now everything is dilapidated.
Overall, it's good for 3300 rupees. Even breakfast was included.

Great location to explore the ancient city, and the lake. Reasonable price to rent a bike as well.
Had some relaxed evenings, good conversations about history and helpfull information how to get around. They are more than happy to serve you to fullest satisfaction.

The host attended to all our needs even calling a doctor for medical advise and helped organise transport to our next destination. The breakfast was very traditional and delicious. The room was clean and tidy with a wall fan. Bikes can be easily hired to visit the local sights of Polonnaruwa.

Foods ok. Rooms are not upto the standarad. Foods ok. Owner is very friendly. Bathroom need more attention.

Lovely guest house with amazing views from the bedroom. Malaka and his brother run the guest house and incredibly so friendly and amazingly accommodating. It was a wonderful stay and only 10 minutes from ancient city.

Accurately i call this guest and book the room i ask i saw booking.com i order on there he said dont book booking.com he give room price 5000 but he call now and increasr the price then i try to booking.com edit the price and said he cant give the room find another place

Nice place with two kind of rooms, old building and new one, but both are great. Amazing views, good and delicious breakfast. Next to the ruins and the lake.

Not clean, doors broken, very lazy workers, cockroaches in the room, the price for dinner is very high and bring not what is ordered

We were offered great hospitality by Mrs. Manel and the staff. Clean and comfortable rooms, and amazing food made our stay extremely worth for the price. The rooms offered a peaceful view.

Average service. Rooms are very spacious but its not properly managed. Beware of insects in the rooms. But you will get good food and hospitality.

Good place to stay when you want stay a night at Polonnaruwa. It’s very near to Pothgul vehera.
