Great diving center. Experienced, knowledge and friendly instructors. I felt welcome and safe all the time. They are apparently the only diving center open in the off-season. So a great choice all the time.

The most important thing in Diving is to be relaxed under water.

Ram does a great job of ensuring this with his reassuring manner and friendly demeanor.

My wife and I are experienced divers with over 50 dives over the years, but were diving after a long gap, so there were some nerves.but Ram took care of that expertly.

We were pleasantly surprised at the diversity of marine life we saw on a day of good visibility. There were a variety of different moray eels, many of them larger than I've ever seen before.
A couple of other things we spotted for the first time were a Harlequin shrimp, Dwarf lionfish and a pearly white sea cucumber.

Awesome first dive of the season. Ram, Janna and the team were great - saw plenty of fish, some stunning eels and blue spotted stingrays and had a fun time. Thanks again

I had a wonderful experience diving with Epic Ocean over two days in August 2023. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the diving in Trincomalee, which was made possible thanks to Jana and Ram's outstanding operation. The dive center is located right on the beach and dive sites are minutes away. Jana was super responsive and flexible in helping me schedule dives. The Epic Ocean team as a whole is friendly and welcoming and displayed impressive professionalism and knowledge of the area. Ram had great energy and was a pleasure to chat with. I was lucky to be diving alone, so Ram adapted the dives to my experience and comfort levels. Highly recommend Epic Ocean for those seeking dive certification courses and/or fun dives in Trincomalee.

I tried snorkeling and diving for the first time in my life with Epic Ocean Adventures and it was epic indeed!

I went snorkeling first and it was amazing! I saw lots of colorful fish and a turtle, which was the highlight of my trip to Sri Lanka.

After snorkeling I wanted more so I signed up for Discover Scuba Dive experience. I was really nervous at first but Janna and Ram were amazing, encouraging and patient which I'm really grateful for. The dive was great and I'll definitely dive more in the future.

I totally recommend Epic Ocean Adventures if you're in Trincomalee! And if you're a bit scared like I was it's alright, you're in good hands:)

We had a great time diving with Ram! It was my very first time diving, and Ram made me feel very comfortable during an introduction dive and two fun dives. He is very knowledgeable, provided clear instructions, and was very calm. It was a great first diving experience and I for sure want to do this more often!

Certified diver, I benefited from a rigorous and very well-oiled organization!
RAM will go out of its way to satisfy your desire to dive.
Exceptionally, all dives are less than 3 minutes away by boat and the break between the two dives is at the club!
The dive sites are fantastic, the corals are in great condition, which is a pleasure to see (compared to the sites in the Maldives and/or Seychelles)
RAM, in addition to being a very good professional, is an excellent UW photographer (the TG6 is definitely an excellent camera for UW Photo).
You can go there with your eyes closed!
My experience around the Indian Ocean places the RAM Dive Center at the very forefront!

Amazing diving center, everyone was very nice to us, they even gave us a tea after every dive and some water. Beautiful diving sites and my girlfriend got here her OWD certificate and the instructor was very skilled and explained everything perfectly.

We had a great experience with Ram and Janna! We did 4 fun dives and really loved them, especially coral garden and naval museum. The dive sites are very closeby (5 min boat trip), which is very convenient. They have good equipment, a lot of knowledge (20+ years experience) and passion for diving. Ram was a nice, fun instructor and made our dives very chill. Janna took care of the paperwork and provided good communication arranging the dives. On top of that we also got some underwater pictures Ram made:)!

My wife and I were looking for a good diving centre to get our Open water certification. I stumbled upon Epic ocean and didn't look further. Janna assisted us from brilliantly day 1, clearly explaining the registration process and next steps which made the entire process extremely seamless.
The actual training and dives thereafter were led by Max and Ram. Again, the training and demonstration itself were very clear and helpful and Max took his time to go through it completely. The time between dives was spent chit chatting over cups of teas and the vibe was as homely as it gets. We even did additional fun dives post our certification with them to remember our training.

If you are looking for your scuba courses in this region, we can whole-heartedly refer Epic Ocean diving centre.

Totally worth it! I completed my OWD here with Max as my instructor. The dives were cool, enriching and there was a lot to see. I loved Ram's energy and the way he does his job. The communication is super easy thanks to Janna. So I totally recommend this diving center for doing your OWD or just fun dives

Both of us did our Open water in Trincomalee - it was my first time diving ever and we both loved it.

Our instructor Maxi was great! He’s a very experienced diver who explained everything to us. We had so much fun diving with him.
The entire team is extremely helpful and professional. They know the area and are really passionated about their job. They’re all trying to get you the best possible experience which we loved.
The equipment was great - they even provided goggles with prescription.

If you’re in Trincomalee i can only recommend diving with epic ocean!

You won’t regret it and if you’re lucky they even have puppies there:)

Nice diving school with cool instructors, felt safe all the time and good material is used. Know some cool dive spots in the bay. Defenitly come again:)

I did a discovery dive here and I thought I might be afraid of diving. However, I felt so safe throughout the whole diving experience and I liked it so much that I will definitely do my open water license at some point:) Can recommend them!

If you are going for a dive in Trincomalee definitely go with epic ocean diving! I did my advanced with them and to do it with them was the best experience ever! They are very professional, fun and very honest! They clearly want to help you and the best for you and not only your money. The instructors and owners are incredibly humble and professional! Would recommend them every day or the week and will definitely come back!

I chose to do the open water & advanced (then later also completed the ship wreck specialty), in total undertaking 12 dives.
I loved every moment of each dive, feeling fully supported by Maxi, Ram & the team!
During each session I felt so safe, the team’s passion for diving was so clear (what ultimately lead me to do another course with them). I couldn’t have wished for a better experience whilst attempting diving for the first time.
I would recommend this dive center to everyone and would love to return one day:)

Just passed my OpenWater qualification there. Awesome place, highly qualified instructors and very friendly. Gear is top notch too. I would recommend it to any beginners (as I am!)
