We came here because of the many positive reviews, but were very disappointed. I had the egg noodles which tasted a lot more boring than in other restaurants. Two friends ate sea food. They were both disappointed by the taste and *ended up getting sick from the food*. The only thing we liked were the fruit juices.

Fresh and tasty rice and curry, juices, and fish. Perfect place for lunch. Run by a kind and sweet family. Highly recommended!

If you are looking for an amazing food, lovely local company, and feet in the sand, this is the place to go! We came here twice in 2 days, that is how good it was. Both days we ordered fresh fishes, prawns, fried rice and potatoes-pumpkin as a side dish. It was absolutely delicious. For drinks we tried fresh pineapple juice and we were hooked, we ordered so many of them:) The owners and their daughters are very friendly and we enjoyed their company.

Lovely place to eat. We were hungry at a lunch time and found the place on the maps. It was amazing, they prepared fresh Baracuda fish for us with fried rice and amazing potato-pumpkin vegetables. Place has amazing atmosphere and I highly recommend to everybody who is looking for great food from locals.

Cute place, good portions and good food. They are just opening up again after covid, note the menu hasn't been updated so the prices might differ on your bill, nothing expensive though.

This family is adorable. The daughter is lovely, friendly and chatty. The food is good and suitable to vegetarians and vegans. Fresh juices and nice brekkie, with roti and dahl. Decent prices. Very recommended!

It's a very small and charming open air place, where you can get excellent seafood and a warm welcome.good service and charming staff.

Very nice chicken curry mixed in with poppadoms, rice and roasted banana! I would also recommend the chicken noodles and the fish rice dish but the chicken curry is the best value. Fruit juices are very tasty and fresh too and the service was friendly and good (they did not muck up our order unlike the previous 2 restaurants we had visited in the area). Overall a quality evening 5/5

Terrible. The slowest service we have experienced during our month long trip around Sri Lanka. Instead of rice and curry we got plain rice with one spoon of vegetables. No value for money.

One of the places with the tastiest food we had during our trip through Sri Lanka. Very good prices. The fresh fruit juices come in a huge glass. Recommend the chicken noodles.

We had the worst dinner of our trip here last night. My husband had tasteless chicken rice and I asked for vegetable curry but received a breakfast bowl with some oil sodden limp fries, grated raw carrot with raw onion, dry Dahl and a small tablespoon full of a vegetable curry left over from the day. Part of the bowl was filled with a broken pappadam. I would have rather been told they didn't have any vegetable curry than serve me this for dinner.

Mrs sita accept me and my friends warmly and she serve us very perfect with a good price.we enjoy her during our stay and she cook for us depend on our taste.intelligent and kind.with delicious foods.strongly recommended

When we arrived the place was closed, but the owner opened up just for us. Very cosy, home cooking vibe. Quiet location just off the beach. We had two sets of veggie curries, very cheap and tasty, portion rather small though. Juice was good. Nice owner!

We came in search of some good home cooked food and this place did not disappoint! Sweet lady who takes your order and makes what ever you choose completely fresh- must mention great prices! Especially compared to other places around. Had a fish curry for 400 LKR and chicken curry for 500 LKR. Also my boyfriend loved their mixed fruit juice. It's not fancy by any means/ really local and down to earth experience.
