Pearl Divers and Watersport Centre

We had a great snorkling experience with Shan, who was a lovely guy and super professional. We saw a million colourful fish and also spotted an octopus and a giant moray eel. The cost was good and the ride out to the site very short and easy. Thanks!

This was just such a great snorkeling experience. The guys are super friendly, welcoming and helpful. The trip out to the snorkeling spot is super fast. And our instructor Shan, was really knowledgeable and experienced. So many beautiful fish, an octopus and a giant eel were at the top of the things we saw. Loved it.

We went for a snorkel around the small rock out from Pigeon Island.

Our guide Mala was the best: friendly, professional, showing and naming all the fish. We saw a lot and a shark as well.

We also gave us water, a snack and a pleasant hot tea after the session.

The vibe at the Center is great: nice chill and washing area, positive vibes and smiles from the team.

Definitely reccomended!

The diving experience here is hard to beat. The whole team are professionals, everything works very well and is organized, but at the same time they are very accommodating, funny and friendly. The equipment is modern and in great condition. We dived with Pearl Divers for 3 days and it was perhaps the best stop on our entire Sri Lanka trip. I would come here again at any time! Our diving instructors Rushan and Salin in particular far exceeded expectations.

Took advanced open water with Rushan here and it was amazing! Wonderful people who work here and everyone is super friendly and helpful.

We had an amazing time at the pearl divers resort in Trincomalee. My boyfriend did his open water certification and I enjoyed some great fun dives with the instructor only.

The room which was provided as part of the certification was comfortable and also the food was amazing. After our dives we mostly hang out at the beautiful beach.

To sum it up, definitely a place I would go diving again and I can totally recommend.

Really nice experience, highly recommend it. We went snorkeling and all instructors were super nice. Mala was ours and he showed beautiful fishes with a lot of patience, very profesional. Afterwards, we had sone cocunut water. Thank you!

Amazing people offering you amazing experiences. Unfortunately when we wanted to go snorkeling there was bad weather, and we appreciated their honesty in saying that they could not bring us in the morning because of this. However, we persevered and we waited till the afternoon, we went out with the boat to the island close to Pigeon Island (the price there was prohibitive), and we saw many interesting fishes, although we did not see any sharks.
If we had more time and if the weather had been better I’m sure we would have seen so much more, but still they were amazing.

I did my Rescue Diver course in Trincomalee in July and 20 fun dives between April and October with Pearl Divers.

I met this amazing team at their in Unawatuna for my Advanced Open Water Diver in November 2021, and it was not possible to not continue with them.

You can count on their kindness and their professionalism for marine adventures in joy and good humor.

I am now in the process of taking each of the five PADI Specialty Diver certifications to become a Master Scuba Diver, with them of course!

I was able to count on Dodo's advice and expertise during these various diving courses. If you want to learn and discover a wonderful world in complete safety, with seriousness but also having fun, you can count on him.

Had amazing Snorkeling experience with pearl divers Trincomalee. Snorkeling at pigeon island was the most beautiful snorkeling experience i had so far. Snorkeling mask and high quality life jackets were provided by the diving center and also boat ride and ticket from wild life counter was arranged by them. Two guides for snorkeling was provided for us and after arriving at pigeon island introduction & instructions was given to us on protecting coral reef and how can we not damage the coral life there while enjoying the beauty of it. For beginners breathing and adjusting mask balancing was practice before starting the tour. Since this is trinco season visibility of the sea was great. As we started the tour early in the morning our guides was able to take us to sea many beautiful marine life, among them we specifically loved seeing black-tip reef sharks and sea turtles.
We snorkeled at both sides of the pigeon island and enjoy well that beautiful paradise. Most importantly provided safety was great.
Very friendly and helpful staff.
After the snorkeling there is shower facilities changing rooms available back at the diving center.also any valuable items can be kept there while diving or snorkeling.
Recommend for both snorkeling and diving as we had great experience with them.
