Always love the ambience here. Truly a peace haven where you can experience perfect tranquility. The silvery beach here is the cleanest beach I have seen in Sri Lanka with beautiful views. Goyambokka is a must to see. Super friendly staff, the closeness to Sri Lankan Culture, the closeness to nature, beautifully designed villas, lot of space to walkaround and the delicious food makes Ananthara an exceptional resort in Southern coast.

Unique experience with splendid flavours. Everything is spot on and very thoughtfully planned for the fine entertainment of the customer. Many activities even for kids. An ideal getaway in a beach side greenery with many luxuries. Edie the naturalist and the all the team at the restaurent are the most professional.

We loved the tranquility, the wellcoming atmosphere and attitude of the staff, and the level of detailing and facilities of the rooms. Everything was perfect includng a very balanced buffet spread of different dishes. Recommemd for those who seek a calm vacation amidst a natural ambiance.

The stay at Anantara Peace Haven was an unforgettable experience. Breathtaking views with peacocks / rabbits and squralls roaming around the hotel gave us that heavenly feeling, just what we wanted exactly.hospitality of the well groomed & well trained staff was so disciplined and friendly & felt like home. Specially Prashan Nirmal / Rajitha were so helpful & caring towards making our stay comfortable & also Tharindi was such a sweetheart who assisted my wife with special arrangements on my birthday & gave us one of the cutest departure blessings we have ever received.
Food is just perfect with so many varieties & everything was super delicious. We would definitely visit again sooner.stay blessed everyone. Thank you all for being part of peaceful and satisfying 3 days of our life?

As a testament to it's names meaning - 'without an end' in sanskrit, this fabulous luxury resort lies in a vast expanse of land, offer endless activities to take part to satisfy all kinds of tastes. Staff is super friendly and nothing is left out. Need at least 2 full days to sample what this place has to offer.

Anantara Peace Haven truly serves its name, It was an amazing experience for my wife and me. We just stayed for a day and the only thing we were sadden about was that we couldnt spent more time there.

Excellent staff and food with amazing rooms!
Even though the hotel was short of staff in the midst of the pandemic, the staff were exceptionally courteous. The food was outstanding!

Our stay at the Anantara Peace Haven Tangalle property was truly amazing and one of a kind. Even during the COVID-19 pandemic, the hotel staff went above and beyond to cater to our wishes.

Our days began with a beautiful and energizing yoga session, under the Il Mare pavilion and overlooking the stunning views of the Indian Ocean. A special thanks to Shanika our yoga instructor for these wonderful lessons and for your Ayurvedic consultations that were very insightful.

Speaking of spa and wellness, the property offers a big, spacious, air-conditioned gym that I used every day. Water, towels and sanitizer are available as well as a wide range of machines to use.

Next door to the gym, you will find a stunning, one-of-a-kind spa facility with the best masseuses. The spa smells wonderfully and everything is cleaned. My friend and I booked the couples time for two massage, which takes place in a beautiful treatment room and which features a foot scrub, Anantara's 90-min signature massage with an oil of your choosing and refreshments in another relaxation room.

Furthermore, to accentuate the flexibility of moving around the property, Anantara provided us with bicycles, so we could cycle to the pool or to the gym. Alternatively, you also have the possibility to take a club car to different locations. Asela did a truly amazing job, taking us around the property safely, either in a tuk tuk or a club car. This service was also provided by our excellent butler, Dilan. Dilan was a fantastic butler, he provided us with all important information and catered to our daily wishes. We were sent dinner menus in advance to alleviate the waiting times in the restaurant, which made dinner times very relaxing and efficient.

Furthermore, we would like to thank the staff at the Il Mare restaurant, who were truly amazing and one of a kind. The welcoming and beautiful Sri Lankan hospitality is so evident in each one of the staff members. We would like to say a special thanks to our friendly and kind hosts Nuwan, Prassana, Ranil and Jeewan and the fabulous bartender Madusanka - who made wonderful drinks.

The last night of our stay, Nuwan, Prassana, Madusanka, Ranil and Jeewan organized a beautiful dinner table outside the restaurant. The table was surrounded by torches that lit up the night sky and our table was decorated in the most beautiful way - with flowers, shells and a candle. This was a true highlight of the trip.

Another beautiful moment that occurred during our trip was when my friend and I were biking back to our villa and the wonderful gardeners cracked open two wonderful coconuts from the lush palm trees, and we were able to enjoy fresh coconut juice. The gardeners do such a wonderful job in keeping the property looking fresh and to keep the flowers blooming.

Overall, we adored our trip to the Anantara Peace Haven Tangalle Resort because it felt like we had found a family away from home. From the kindness of the waiters, to the smiles of the gardeners, to the acquaintances we were able to make with other guests - our trip was truly one of a kind and will be remembered in a very dear place of our hearts.

This is amazing place to visit, especially in tangalle. Staff are very friendly and supportive. Due to covid occupancy is low now days. Management is trying to make best with situation.

They are following safety precautions well at resort even some of the staff categories low risk and high risk area to avoid covid.

There are few area need to work on in rooms. However can understand that due to covid situation everything is hold back.

Marvellous location. Splendid large rooms with luxury bathrooms. Food is so delicious that I thought I was in a French restaurant. So every topic was fautless, why such a low mark? Cause I like music, danse, fun.and there weren't. Too quiet, boring for me.

Superb holiday location, spacious rooms and spacious property with lots of garden and placed to explore. Many animals and plants to see, you can ask them to take yourself to a tour around the garden with a guide who will explain.
You can have a boat ride with the property itself with the natural cannel flowed to the sea. Suburb sea beach.
All the villas have good facilities and private swimming pool each.
Good food and beverage, friendly and helpful professional service.

The Southern Coast is littered with many star class properties but Anantara Tangalle is the best out of them all. The buffet is extensive and very tasty. The service is exceptional. The property assigns every guest a butler. And we were well looked after. The property itself is quite extensive and there are plenty of things to do on site. The good highway connectivity makes this an easy place from which to explore the rest of the province from.
If you are an early riser would recommend you walk up to the view point for an exceptional sunrise.

First of all I never thought that I will travel to Sri Lanka one day.but its like a hidden gem in the world.and morover this resort was really amazing and beautiful.it really worth it for spending honeymoon (like me, or any special occasion you have)
I booked for garden villa with private pool but they upgraded it for me to beach villa for free and it was really amazing.
That stunning beach view with sounds of the waves and clear sky with all stars.it was magical
The resort was really worth it, starting from the the villa was really spacious and comfy with amazing bathtub with full set of soaps and bath soaps which was amazing
We asked for fenice in front of the villa and they really understand our privacy needs and they did it for us
I asked for Bluetooth speakers and they provided it for me.
The staff were extremely helpful and nice and trying their best to make us feel comfortable

I took all inclusive package as I like peace of mind although I dont consume that much food
Food was good but you need to understand that during these times of COVID-19 there are some limitations but the resort team do their best to make you happy
You will find a lot off animals over there but they are friendly and remember that you are going to a tropical country, so no matter how much they clean, you will encounter instincts over there, so dont take it as negative point
Their high tea time became our special tradition for 5 days continously with the calm sunst time
There are many activities you can do there if you want and most of it are complimentary like bike riding, ride in there small lake they have, fresh coconut drink.etc
The spa also they have with variety of massages options available which was amazing, we went there 2 times and we really need it.

You need to upgrade the systems you have, automatic curtains operated remotely

If you can provide a remote operated fence in from of the villas (like it slides up&down) or glass barrier that can turned to shade it will be very innovative and meet everyone privacy needs without loosing the beautiful view whenever needed

This is the second time I've been to Anantara. We loved everything about this place. Hotel is situated right on the edge of a gorgeous stretch of beach.
The service is awesome. They seem to take extra precautions with the Covid scenario. They have 5 different restaurants (but sadly only 2 were functioning at the time) also the spa was out of bounds.
You can book a small boat ride and get bikes to ride around the hotel. It's 43 acres so it's quite a large area.
The villa rooms are well designed with everything you need. Plus the bathrooms are quite large; And you have closet space as well.
The food seems to be the only thing that could do bit better.
In my opinion you won't regret coming here.

Easily one of the best 5 star hotels in the South of Sri Lanka provides a great sri Lankan experience to all its guests. From the welcome there is a different vibe. Personalize butlers for the villas is a great value addition. The food is delicious. The activities range from indoor sports swimming gym spa nature walks boat rides and also a Sri Lankan paddy field experience. The staff is extremely friendly our butler Yohan was very precise in his service always inquiring about our needs. Also the head of security Mr. Erinda was very supportive and friendly during our stay. Thanks to both of them and the entire staff.

One of the best hotels in SL. We were there for our honeymoon. Hotel staff was friendly and the environment was peaceful and calming. It has a very big land to explore with tree houses, paddy fields, herb garden etc. Also you can access the beach from the hotel which is very clean. We got to have buffet menu for all 6 meals we had for 2 day stay.
