Anantara Peace Haven Tangalle Resort

Nestled right in a picturesque southern shore. This property was opened in 2016. The resort is vast and has more green space and leisure activities.
The sun rise and sun rise views comes with an obstructed view.
The sea shore also has small pools that are teeming with marine life and also sea urchins which you should be aware of if you are walking bare feet.

Very friendly staff and nice location including model village and paddy fields. Very tasty food with many varieties. Recommend for staying long

It was an extremely wonderful, peaceful & mind blowing experience. Lots of activities in the resort premises. Precious rooms, mouth watering buffet. Friendly & halpful staff. We were hosted by Sahan Mendis who was really helpful & kind.

Loved every moment of our 9 night stay in the Anantara - staff were wonderful, as was the hotel and location. Happy memories of relaxed walks in the evening along the beach, relaxed days by the pool, and enjoyable food. Want to return there someday!

This was truly a magical stay! Love everything about this place. Mr. Isuru was our personal concierge and he gave us a full coverage of everything about the hotel and surroundings. It's perfect for couples as well as families. Kids even have separate activity areas. They have their own organic garden too. The beach from the hotel is spectacular.
Buffet was soooooo good. Food was amazing.
This is the hotel with the best hospitality so far of the places I've been. It was a memorable stay ️. Thank you so much. Would definitely come back.

Everything with Anantara Tangalle was near perfection. Food to Service to comfort to location that was very eye pleasing and close to heart. We will be revisiting annually. Guest guide was also very helpful with arrangements especially for my infant son. Pleanty of in house activities to natures waljs to carry on during the stay.

A mind-calming location surrounded by blue seas. This is a grand-scale hotel in Sri Lanka with the most friendly staff to assist you at anytime. The food served at the place is fresh and delicious is, of course, luxury and a comfortable place to enjoy your holidays. Furthermore, you will get access to beautiful photo locations including a blow hole.

Truly a peace heaven. From the huge beach front, the large double decker pool to the massive garden it is a space filled with tranquility. To top it off the delicious food & unbelievable customer service makes it a place you want to come back again and again.

Our host Sahan Mendis was truly exceptional, a person who can set a benchmark for the local hotel industry. He was always helpful and constantly & non-intrusive in touch with us to fulfill our needs. He not just providing us a guided tour but showed us the best photo locations and helped us with photos. His exceptional service and the service of the rest of the staff made our stay truly enjoyable.

We stayed at this beautiful resort for our honeymoon and it was exactly what we wanted. Beautiful, peaceful and lots to do on site. This property is spectacular! The architecture, the pool, the ocean and the amazing view make it a ‘must’ visit property. However, what makes it stand out even more are the fabulous people!
The garden view villa with private pool, We would say that it is Super spacious, perfectly arranged, well equipped and rich with modern facilities & amenities.
And OMG the foods, speechless.being vegetarian didn't have any difficulty with the food.
Mr.yohan who was assigned to us for all our needs was indeed excellent!
Special thanks to Mr.uditha who took very good care of us while we were there. His way to accommodate all our requests and were so obliging at all times. We thanked him personally for that.
It was so pleasant to see at least one staff member as they were always with a smiling face with Good morning good evening or a Hello!
Eddie was the person who conducted the walk and it was excellent we would say. We thoroughly enjoyed his tour and his magnificent knowledge
This property takes your breath away. We're really looking forward to going back there for a longer stay next time around.

Sri Lanka one of the best travelers hotel. They have been provided best service and their location is marvelous, it is on the Tangalle beach area.

Definitely heaven on earth! Nothing to complain about! Very nice people, beautiful atmosphere, wonderful breakfast, nice pool as well as sun beds by the beach. Also a tennis court available for all the guests. This visit made our Sri Lanka stay!

Hotel was good but my Malasiyan guest told me hotel staff are not caring Asian guest because from Chinese origin another thing was Chauffeur guide accamadation was not available near three days I stay out to pay my Money Chauffeur meal OK really good but such big hotel (boasting) only twelve guide room means it's bullsit even Hotel staff's are promoting private driver accamadation?

Every thing is great about this resort, the staff, the location, the Food don’t miss there sea food night.
And its a must to try the Il Mare (Italian Resturant) with sea view

Relaxing, great food and great service. Lots of choice of food with an exquisite buffet, a sushi restaurant and pool side service.

This is Probably the best hotel in Sri Lanka. My self, my wife and especially my two daughters enjoyed from the welcome, Food, staff and surrounding, it was excellent.
My kids really enjoyed the time they spent with Ms. Nadee at the kids club.

I think Sri Lanka and the Hotel Resorts industry is going crazy who would pay the price for Anantara Tangalle this ridiculous rate. Money hungry I will never come there.
