63Sacred place among the Catholics of Sri Lanka. The road to the church is quite well maintained. Worth a visit even if you are not a Catholic.
This was my second time. I feel blessed after visiting Madu Church This place is filled with miracles and lots of blessings of Mother Mary (Our Lady of Madu). There are masses in both Sinhala and Tamil languages. Sundays (6 am Tamil Mass, 7am Sinhala Mass, 10: 15 am Sinhala and Tamil mixed Mass). And there are houses where you can spend days after booking from the church office. Price range 500LKR and above for a night with Normal basic facilities. I believe that as the Catholics, facilities dont matter, only the Blessings are enough. Because you cant think of comfortability all the time.
Very nice place for catholic worship. Many people are visiting this place daily and praying in the church. There is facility for staying.
