Upper Glencairn Bangalow reviews
33Amazing place to stay. Great food and very family friendly. Certainly recommend for your next escape. Beautiful sceneries with lush green.
Great place to stay. But because it is very close to Dikoya Hospital, the road to this place is very busy during hospital hours.
Rooms and bathrooms are very clean.
This is a bungalow built around 1906 and located in beautiful surroundings facing the Castlereigh reservoir. A good place for a holiday. A quiet place with a good view. Reasonable price. Good service. Delicious food.
Very beautiful place. Climate changing minute by minute. Nice experience. Kindly staff. Excellent service.
Good view, spacious, good and flexible service, tasty food, reasonable cost, spacious parking, good driver ' s quarters, all in one place.
Staff very frendly, service good, Foods are tasty, cool environment, guardn not maintain but ok.

Delicious foods.

Highly recommended!
Excellent place to stay. Staff is friendly and helpful. Food is also good but with few choices.
Great place to spend the night around Hatton. Reserved a room for changing and dine in on the way to adam's peak and to rest after coming back. The place was elegant. Food was really good. There is a cosy living room as common area and dining room.view is nice around there. Staff was friendly. Service was very good. The bar is also available. Parking also available for a few vehicles.
A piece of Victorian era British architecture implanted into the tea filled hills of Sri Lanka.
I always stay here when I visit Nuwaraeliya Feels very homey and has a antique vibe. Good is good and has an amazing garden with beautiful views. Love it
Old well maintained coloneal bangalow. Nice to stay. Clean modern bathrooms. Nice food. Visa, master card accepted. Better to come with prior booking. Good staff. ATM facility available within 200m. Nice surrounding.
Used to be, and still it is, my perfect holiday home for the last 20 years. This is run by Bank of Ceylon (BOC). They don't allow online booking.booking should be done over the phone, which is also fine. You cannot pay using online banking but need to go to a BOC beach physically. Its sad to see that the quality of maintanance of this paradise banglow is going down. Food is good. The staff is friendly as it used to be 20 years ago. I wish BOC pay more attention on this place and keep it with its glorious outlook.
Ideal place to spend your leisure time with scenic beauty with a sense of calmness. Extremely friendly staff, good food.
A colonial bungalow overlooking the Castlereagh reservoir and the adams peak, this bungalow s situated amidst acres of tea plantations. They offer very well up kept five bedrooms with attached bathrooms (with hot water). Staff is active and welcoming. Free wifi, western, eastern and local cuisines, bellboys/front-desk staff, room service, bar, launge area, spacious garden with outdoor restaurant spaces and parking space are some of the facilities offered.
This hotel is comparatively cheaper, as it is owned by the bank of ceylon, a state bank of Sri Lanka. But it never is a budget hotel where only a bed and a meal is offered. For the facilities and the experience (food, location, era) it offers this can be considered as a cheaper boutique hotel.
Peaceful, Serene. It is an old bangalow built on the early 1900s. The place has great character and a beautiful view overlooking the distant lake and the tea plantation.
The garden could do with a bit of care and the building and rooms can do with a lot of TLC. The access is a bit ordinary as part of the road is also used by the hospital. The road is a bit rough.
The bathrooms are modern. Has hot water. Heating could be arranged.
The staff who served us were good.
The rooms are fair. The location is fair. It was all about the climate for me. We have Castlereigh reservoir, tea estates and mountains to keep an eye and to just relax with a nice cup of tea
Whenever, I travel to my hometown, stay here for a night or two. Located in a beautiful surrounding facing the Castlereigh reservoir and Adam's Peak. It's a nice place to stay. Breakfast is always good. To get good food, should place the order in advance. Service staff are all good. Not all services are readily available and thus you should not go in high expectations.
Beautiful property with a lot of potential.
Bungalow is owned and managed by BOC Ceybank and it is a very beautiful property situated in Dickoya, about 3 hours from Colombo.
Good place for a group. Food wasn't all that great. You can choose a variety of food from a standard menu.
It is one of the cheapest properties around the area and definitely worth a visit.
