This company and brand and its service are completely unreliable. The worst quality despite the 1 year total warranty and the 5 year warranty on the compressor. Freezer 300 liter broken on January 5. On January 22, still no replacement after several promises of next day delivery. Better not buy this brand. Hotline does not work on Friday afternoon until Monday morning. The worst brand and service in Sri Lanka. This company and brand and its service are completely untrustworthy. Worst quality despite 1 year full warranty and 5 year warranty on compressor. The 300 liter refrigerator was broken on January 5. On January 22nd, still no replacement after several promises of next day delivery. Better not to buy this brand. Difficult to find the prices. Always has ask staff support which takes time and staff is not available always. Has to hunt for stafg

Extremely pathetic after service. We bought air fryer oven and it got broken due to some internal issue in two weeks. Then we gave it to the abans service center Anuradhapura. These people took over 4 weeks and the repair is yet to be done. Everytime we call they ask to call back in two or three days. EXTREMELY POOR SERVICE. NOT RECOMMENDING TO ANYONE.

THE WORST CUSTOMER service I ever knew in my life.
I called them for inspection for my refrigerator the technician turned up after 5 days for inspection was not able to pointout the fault he said they will forward a quotation upto date I have not received even a call from them on calling them several occasions they promised to forward the quotation STILL THEY ARE DUM I even paid them 2,000/- for the inspection at least they should have the courtesy to give some feedback. DISGUSTING SITUATION I'VE EVER HAD.

TO ALL PLEASE DONT EVER CALL THEM FOR YOUR SERVICES YOU WILL BE DISAPPOINTED AT THE END.

Worst after sales service. If you are going to buy something, they are great. When you go for a warranty claim, you'll see the difference. I would never recommend this place. I wonder why the head office operates like this. Employees don't have an attitude to serve and satisfy customer.
Special note, DON'T BUY ABANS BRANDED PRODUCTS. They are very cheap. Both blender and stand mixer I bought are very bad.

It came very late when I complained during the warranty period. They charged me extra 7300/= during replacement of spare parts but after doing so washing machine did not work again.

We have purchased a AC Machine from Waligama Abans after 2week of purchase it stated to break after several reminders they came to fix it but fail now we have a investor in our room without Ac one representative came and took it but his T no is not working there after sale service is very poor I don't recommend any body to buy from this place
We have made a complaint with consumer affairs Authority

An entire range of high end products spanning from shoes to white goods to furniture all available under one roof with excellent customer service and quality satisfaction. This place is a must for shoppers in Sri Lanka.

I have given my induction cooker for repair 5 months ago. I kept calling your customer service more than 7-8 times and no one knows what’s happening with my cooker. Everyone keeps referring to someone else but no one solves the issue. I’ve been an Abans customer for more than 5-6 years and I’m disappointed in your after service.

Please replace my cooker as soon as possible or let me know if you have lost my cooker so I can purchase a new one from somewhere else.

Kindly stop misleading customers like this. Everyone is in a difficult situation as it is and avoiding your customers like this doesn’t help your company or the customers.

COMPLAINT – Shocking Customer Service
Repair of Hoover Dishwasher

We wish to bring to your attention our complete loss of confidence in your (previously) esteemed company, from whom we have purchased our entire range of household equipment over the past two decades.

Our experience with your customer service is indescribably shocking and frustrating, to say the least, particularly regarding the above repair, as well as the absence of servicing of our air conditioners as per service contract, just for starters.

Inability to communicate with anyone higher than the call center personnel, plus unanswered emails points to complete disregard to your customers’ needs. Please note that we are very mindful of the stressful and difficult environment in the country and would be satisfied with a call from a Responsible staffer explaining the exact nature of the delay.

Having made prompt payment for the above repair on June 22,2022 on the promise of delivery within 10 days of receipt of funds, we are yet to hear of a date of delivery, after over a month and several calls and emails.

We shall be most grateful if your office enables a positive communication with a Responsible person to expedite the matter, and if interested have a detailed feedback on our experience.

Very poor customer service. Never recommend to buy their products. Their service center is not doing their job properly. They will never repair electrical items on their warranty period.

We handed over our fridge, rubber beeding On 4th of April 2022 to Abans. After 2-3weeks ago I called your abans customer service and your caller said that job didn't add to the system because they missed my job. After that the caller added my job into the system on same day. After at all I was calling your service center, they always saying technical team will contact me soon. But still not called me anyone. I called your service center more than 20 times. But still not received good response. Really disappointed.

Abans after sales service is the worst in the island, I requested batteries for an electric bicycle they sold earlier. They say they aren't selling that product anymore and try to ignore the call ASAP, after pushing further and further they gave me a number for spare parts. Even the Abans showroom sold it doesn't care about my request. Even the call center doesn't know how to handle a situation, please be aware that after sales service is very bad

Don't buy anything online in abans. The customer service is pathetic. In case you have to return the product it is a huge hassle. You will have to pack the item and courier them back the item. You shall not be given proper instructions. There is no way you can return it to a nearby store and get a replacement. Nope it should be sent to back to the online store itself. The whole process takes more than 7 working days. I shall not recommend abans online purchasing at all.
