83Never buy Abans products. After sales service/repairs is pathetic. Charged 26,000+ to repair an automatic washing machine and the bloody thing doesn't work after the so called repairs. To top it off, the service center is ignoring calls to attend to the incomplete job.
Very rude and incompetent delivery service for goods ordered online. We have ordered many electronic items from most of the leading electronic dealers in SL during the pandemic and Abans easily has the WORST delivery service ever. They have delivered us opened/damage box personal hygiene items as well as delivered completely wrong models for some items we bought that we we had to call Abans headquarters multiple times to sort things out. They also have NO system of contactless delivery of any sort in place and require you to sign a document in pen and paper to confirm the delivery. They have also been very rude to my parents when they asked for alternatives as they are heart patients and are in the high risk category for Covid. Please do not provide a delivery service if you can't do it properly especially during these times when we are facing a pandemic.
Do not recommend to anyone very poor in service.
We ordered food processing item online from their website.they delivered it within 3 days, but it was not working.they never test the items before delivery.then I companied it, but keep saying would replace the item tomorrow but never that happened, its more than two week days now. But they use word 'sorry' every time simply without any meaning to it.
And If you call service number always not there to pickup.
I'm very disappointed with the salesmen at kollupitiya branch they are manipulive and full of lies, I went in to buy a new phone and the sales men at the entrance told me that I can upgrade the mobile phone ram by an update me (as an It professional) knows for certainty that it is impossible for me to update a phone and increase its ram. He kept on lying to my face I have been a customer of Abans kollipitya branch for more than 5 years I m very disappointed about them lying to my face. I'm disappointed and I will not return back to a place where it would lie to a customers face, we as long time customers come to Abans for the trust we on the company I lost faith and respect.
Even though they selling Genuine products the prices are relatively high. No any offers or discounts. Best place to have a hands on experience on products/ electronics before you planning to buy it. If you are an average consumer better to do more search on product prices with other vendors/ or authorised resellers. Definitely you will find better deals and authentic products somewhere else. If money doesn't matter for you this place is 100% recommended.
Useless Helpdesk, If they do not know how to handle the issue, they just hangup, they do not care, all the calls are getting recorded I do not know why, same thing happened to me 3 times.
Good customer service and one showroom you can recommend having all electricity appliances and electronic equipment.
මම LG ශිත කරනයක් ගත්තේ 2018, අව්රැදු 10 ක් warranty කිව්වා නමුත් දැන් කියනවා compasur e එකට විතරලු හා එක අව්ලක් නැ කියමුකො. හදන්න එක්කෙනෙක් එව්වා දවසක් 8කට පස්සේ. එයා අපු ගමන් කිව්වා බොර්ඩ් එක දන්න ඔන කියලා. සමහරවිට experience එක කියමුකො. හදන්න බොර්ඩ් එක අරන් එයි එකට 12000යි. ආවට 948/= කිව්වා. එකත් දුන්නා. දැන් දින 16යි. තවම නැ. අපි වෙන හදන කනෙක්ට පෙන්නුවා බොර්ඩ් එක මොකුත් වෙලා නැ fan එක වැඩ නැ මෙන්න Abance

LG After service is terrible, And apple section staff is behaving to it customers as you buy it if want we don't care.
While working with a limited staff they are doing a good job of providing a quick service. Good place to get your houshold electronic appliances.

Ordered an air fryer online on buyabans.lk. It said delivery not available and to opt for in store pickup. Selected the Main showroom in Col 3. After 3 hrs of placing the order got the confirmation email asking me to pick up the product. When I went there they said they do not have any stocks of the phillips air fryer. When they contacted the online manager I could hear him telling them to give me whatever damaged stock they had. Left the place and demanded they deliver me the product soon. Never order on abans.lk online. Useless service will not recommend to anyone.

When I was calling to hotline put the call on hold and hang up the call this happened to me when I called 3 or 4 times to and went to the kotahena branch to log a complaint on washing machine repair it’s been over one month still no progress or feedback from Abans
Disappointed on service
Really disappointed. One of the worst company in Sri Lanka. They provide very poor customer care and bad service. I made complains more than 15 times regarding a repair of my LG AC machine but they don't follow and consider regarding complains, They always and all the time say will do tomorrow will do tomorrow, wasting time. This is not the first time. Abans is the biggest mistake I've ever made. Never will recommend to anyone.

My 1st bad experience. Very poor educated sales persons in point pedro branch I just went check the offers for I phone and I think he don’t have any idea about your offers and products then I ask some questions he shouted at me in bad way. He told he is the manager of that branch and he told his name Mr. Jestin or something. He shout me to go out from the showroom like that

Good customer service. Mr. Dias helped a lot to help us choose a good machine. However, the delivery service is very poor. We had a guy who didn't even complete the job. He just dropped the machine off at the place didnt attach the machine to water or attach the rat protection underneath. When we called him the same day to tell him that he told us he would come later in the day to do it but didnt. Really didnt expect such poor delivery from a prestigious place like Abans.
Just picked up a laptop from this showroom. Mr. Azur was quite helpful with his customer service. Looking forward to a just as good after sales service.
I strongly suggest you not to buy any Abans product from any of the Abans showrooms. They sell defect appliances as brand-new products. I recently bought a fridge from Abans and it stopped working within 2 days. And their only solution for it was to fix the fridge. Why would I buy a brand new fridge if it breaks within a day or so and I have to fix and use it? They don't even offer to replace the defect product. Had to file a complain to Consumer Affairs Authority. So if you don't wanna go through these troubles, I strongly suggest you to go for another supplier other than Abans.
