Golden Key Eye & ENT Hospital reviews
68 Can someone tell the receptionist that printing a bill only take a few seconds and not to make such a fuss and think people who use insurance are beggars. The person who prepared the bill is the receptionist
They didn’t even supply socks when we told them the AC is too cold, the reply from these entitled nurses were “oh no worries, the cold will go away”
This is how they treat their patients who pay a lot of money for treatment.
Absolutely terrible service, who are these uneducated fellows you people have hired? We’re making a formal complaint everywhere we can, DO NOT GO TO THIS TERRIBLE HOSPITAL
Excellent service from Golden Key Eye Hospital. Both myself and my husband have done cataract surgeries and the admission process and their quality of service is great. Dr. Saliya and sister Deepthi has helped us and provided a good care. Highly recommend them.
Good service
Highly recommending
Dr. Milhan Bahar and Sobitha, so kind and professionals other doctors also good except Dr. Sitha (she is no more there I think).
Worst customer service ever. Receptionist doesn’t know to speak. Not helpful at all. Very rude and not customer service skills. Not recommend to anyone
I highly recommend this place to anyone. We have been getting our eye checkups and treatments from Dr. Dilruwani at this hospital more than 5 years now.and I have recommended for all my office colleagues as well and now they also getting there treatment done at this place. I would like to Thanks Miss Kalani who is a nurse at Golden Key Hospital 3rd floor for all her dedication and empathy showed to all the Patients. We really appreciate the service given by Nurse Kalani and Sister Dipti which makes this hospital a pleasant place. Thanks alot everyone
My aunt Mrs Sriya De Silva had her eye surgery at the Golden Key Hospital recently. It was her second surgery by Dr. Dilruwani Ariyasinghe. Hospital service was very good and a special thank you to Sister Deepthi for her excellent care and service given to my Aunt
Good hospital overall, we were there at around 7.30am morning but pharmacy was closed at that time.
I brought my mother for cataract surgery on 22/12/2021. The customer/patient care from the get-go could improve. It starts from the security OIC and goes all the way to the patience registration. The only reason to come here is the good surgeons' patronage. This is convenient for me, but I would still travel further for good customer and patient care.
Little things from parking vehicles, greeting and escorting patients, and organising and improving facilities at the waiting areas need to be worked on. It is not only the quality of surgery that people look for. If there is a chief of staff, they need to look at these issues and address them before the whole establishment goes bust. I have seen a lot of frustration voiced by people. I hope these can be addressed soon.
Good doctors in a disorganized place.
Prepare yourself to move between floors and counters. If you are 60+ come with a young companion to do the hopping for you. Critical decisions has to be made by the patient as no family members are allowed in the consultation room.
Since you can effort to pay for services here, you can find much better place in Sri Lanka.
Location is good. But dr saliya pathirana was late and nobody informed or msg regarding the delay.

Very unclean, dirty private hospital where there is ZERO care for patients but the ONLY goal is to maximize profit.
We were requested by an eye surgeon to go to this hospital to get a procedure done and it was one of the worst experiences we had. Security staff directs vehicles to park on the 2nd level and then everyone including the patient needs to walk to the 1st level to enter the hospital. Once at the 1st level entrance there is unbelievable commotion as the staff there are trying to get people to pay extra and get an antigen test done. Then you have to go to the back alley of the hospital next to their garbage room to get the so called antigen test done. No report given/ No receipt given and verbally they say we are cleared to go in (after paying Rs 2000)
Once on the 3rd floor, major confusion there too. People are sent from one place to the other. Lots of interest by the staff to know if the patients have insurance coverage (not sure why) and when you say you don’t they look disappointed.
The procedure was done in a few minutes but the patient is not released and brought to the exit for over an hour and the explanation is that the payment needs to be cleared. However at the time of checking in we are not allowed to settle the bill as they claim that there can be “extras” during the procedure that needs to be added. Gets even worse. Around 7.00pm most lights are switched off / AC off and they request people who accompanied the patients to go into the parking garage (yes - parking garage) and stay there until the patient is ready.
We were told by other patients that they come here as there is no other choice but soon when the vision care hospital opens in mount Lavinia, things will change here as they will have true competition.
The only positive thing about this place is staff who are in the theatre, particularly the male attendant goes above and beyond to care for patients.
Went to the vision care which was on the 2nd floor. Waited in the queue by getting seated. There was a person who came after us, and when it was our time to get the vision check done, the male person who was in charge of Vision care at that moment got the person who came after us first and told us to wait. That's unfair. We came first. So he must take us first. Terrible
Been here only once to visit the dental unit. The place seemed very clean and organized. It's a really small place for a hospital.
Staff is very helpful and seems well organized.
There is a small parking lot available. It seems sufficient for the number of visitors.
A place where there are security guards who don't even know how to address a client. Not happy about that
Nurses are a little disoriented probably because of the pressure of work. Otherwise all's good.
I’ve breathing issues for 6months n my medical reports r normal (X-ray, ECG, endoscopy, ultrasound, exercise ecg) but I didn’t get any relief. I went to Kalahapitiya Weda Mahaththaya he said I’ve sema (cold) for years. But i got improvement for it n I didn’t any recovery from it.suggest me a best doctor For my issues?
Please do not got to this hospital. Telephone operators do not know how to talk to the customer. Seems they are found from.
Over all experience at Golden Key hospital was good. I found the place is customer friendly and the service was prompt with Satisfied personal care and attention for a senior citizen like me.
This is worst private hospital in Sri Lanka. Specially the management and the staffs. They do not care about the patients. We are paying cash they are not service us for free so they should allow people along with the patient. There rules are iritating for customers. Waste of time. I don't recommend anyone to this hospital.
