Appointment at 5.20pm on 22nd Jan.
Checked with hospital and feedback was at 4.45pm no 14.
Arrived and nurse says no number sequence and doctor is seeing random numbers. Doctor Lakshan ENT walks out at 5.25pm. Later when asked emergency patient.
Waited till 6.25pm and left as no doctor to be seen. Nurse says no 14 not seen yet. Number system says 11. Will avoid Nawaloka as no proper system by nursing staff to enter patients.

Doctor was ridiculously late, the first session was scheduled at 3.00 P. M.then it was rescheduled to 7.00 P. M.later when we arrived at 6.30 P. M.at the hospital, I was messaged that the session was delayed yet again till 8.00 P. M. There's a separate session for E-channelling patients which was started after the other patients' session although we have an estimated time for our session. This wastes our valuable time as we're making an appointment amid our busy schedules. The front staff and some of the doctors' assistant girls are quite impolite. Don't get me started on the outdated, and gross washrooms. I'm never going back there ever again!

Go elsewhere for your healthcare needs. Their systems are very disorganised. They book several people at the same time and doctors sometimes don't even show up to the surgery until 30 mins+ after the appointment times. Total disregard for patients time.

Had the worst experience ever with a well known eye doctor. Was very rude and he was scolding due to an error made by the staff while checking the vision. He didn’t listen to us or let us even talk, just constantly scolded.
Not recommending! Please don’t waste your money!

I have been calling the hospital now for over an hour and the agents just keep putting me on hold or cutting the line when all I am asking for is if the doctor has arrived for my appointment set already. This is ridiculous!

Horrid service and absolute no customer care. Terribly disappointing for such a known name.

Worst experience in this hospital. Booked an appointment for 6pm & the doctor isn’t even in at 7pm. When inquired from the counter they said doctor will be delayed by another 15 mins.

Doctor came at 7: 15 & nurse called our number. We went in & came to know that it was not the doctor we’ve asked for. They’re playing with patient’s lives. Doctors are also not saying anything & purely unprofessional.

Pathetic situation, no wonder why Sri Lanka is not developing like other countries. If you can’t respect others time what to expect.

Do NOT recommend this at any cost. But what are the other options available in Sri Lanka. Funny

Poor pharmacy service. There are more than 10 staff members but it took more than 30 min to issue medicine for 6 numbers.

The worst hospital experience. The nurses, sisters and attendants on the fifth floor is the worst kind of people let alone carers you can ask for.
The daily fee is Rs 150,000 and yet you are not given any response but arrogance in return.
The nursing staff surely had been the mean, uncaring and ill mannered.
We had no choice but to go there because our doctor was visiting only that hospital. If you can, please avoid Nawaloka Hospital.

Coronary Care Unit in the Nawaloka Hospital Colombo is a place where provide you excellent service for heart patients. A very good staff, advanced technologies and other medical procedures to facilitate the patient is amazing. Immediate decision making on starting and continuing of the treatment is the best thing that a heart patient can have in this hospital.
However I would suggest some recommendations to the hospital management. The most important thing is the interaction between guardian and some physician when they admitted to the hospital. There is no proper method to communicate with the physicians who are allocated instead of the consultant specialist to treat the admitted patient. Some physicians do not even care the guardian, do not talk directly and do not like to read a written piece of paper forward by the guardian about patient's further treatments. Therefore I suggest to create awareness programs to the doctors to improve the ethical conduct and interaction between the guardian/patient knowing them 'customer is the king'.

Some patients are coming only for reduce the serious symptoms and also they are on the clinical procedures under a National Hospital. Therefore the hospital team should communicate with the guardian whether only to reduce the symptoms and discharge at the patient's risk and responsibility to carry out the further medical treatments under national hospital if the patient is currently consulting doctors in a National Hospital and it would also applicable at a financial crisis of the patient.

And also I suggest to be more attentive on appointing a doctor to take care of a heart patient when a consultant cardiologist might not able to attend on checking the patient. Because the Customer, the king, does not want to treat under a general physician when they admitted under a cardiologist at first.

By focusing on this matters nawaloka hospital would be able to make more sustainable profits in the future.

Thank you for reading this.

Worst experience I have ever had. Went for an ultrasound scan and followed all the instructions given. Nevertheless in my report stated left ovary cannot be identified. After consulting my doctor, she ask me to do the same scan again. When I inform this to the counter, they said to pay again and do it.isn't this a technical defect? There are many private but I choose nawaloka to get a accurate report but now I regret. Waste of money and time.

Most UNORGANISED Hospital as per my experiences.
1) No one to guide patients to relavant Unit
2) After parking a Vehicle, there is No clue or guidance what to do Next & No directions.
3) Attitude of Staff (Specially at Counters & Cashier) is very poor. (Though they call everyone " Sir: just for sake.
4) Doesnt seem following Covid safety procedures (as per my experience)
5) From parking to the related unit patient had to walk closer to 500 meters

You have to to better as one of the pioneer private hospitals in Country

DISSAPOINTED.

I was admitted to ward 5 (room 5515) yesterday, saying the particular doctor is available and on the following day they assigned me to different doctor just keeping me in the ward, you people are real cheaters who are focused on grabbing money from patients very disgusting. No doctor is there to discuss my reports and I am discharged. NEVER RECOMMEND THIS HOSPITAL to anyone again.

Worst experience in channeling doctors. Specifically came to Sri Lankan to show my father’s reports to Dr bimsara (2nd floor, 218). Ever day appointment scheduling.

1) 1st visit doc supposed to come at 5pm but he didn’t show up until 7: 30 and we Left as the counter nurse he’s not answering his phone.

2) appointment time is 6pm. But the hospital rescheduled to 8.30pm.
Unfortunately he did not show up until 10pm
(Still after all this wasted time he doesn’t even check the reports properly)

Hospital has no proper communication with doctors or have not raise a concern of coming late and disregard people time and acting unprofessionally.

Disappointed to see such situation of a welknown hospital.

Don’t ever recommended this hospital.

Worst service. On tue april 2022 got tablets from pharmacy bill was 458.30 cents and they charged me 460rs. Bill states 41.70 rs is given back as balance. But I just got 40rs. I went and asked back my rs 1.70.where she said no coins. Will they ever give us discounts if cents or 2 rupees are in our bill never. But just to get that 30 cents they charged me 2rs and said no coins to give balance. Everyone beware they are stealing and earning in thousands.
I want to give zero stars but unfortunately can't.

Please stop coming here! God knows why it takes 4 hours to get a CT scan done. So many people are waiting here and a brawl almost broke out because of the delays! So many other hospitals are there in SL that are better

Extremely bad service. I didn't see any difference between this hospital and a state hospital in terms of the service. Rude workers, terrible assistance for patients.

Recently I had a bad experience with Eye doctor "C. A. B Makuloluwa. He started to shouting at me without a reason. He dont know how to treat patients. He is such a bigshot who doesn't know to negotiate with people in a propper manner. Also he made me to wait more thn 3 hours. Guys please be safe when you channeling with this guy. Better avoid this kind of humbleness doctor. He thinks he is god. There plenty of better doctor waiting outside who can treat people with kind a good heart.
