Food quality is just ok, quantity is good. We ordered chicken biryani and chicken noodles. Taste of chicken biryani can be improved

For me and my wife everything was perfect! Friendly stuff, nice atmosphere and the most importan, delicious crab! Thank you guys!

Delicious Indian food with friendly staff! Recommend to order soups first because the main dishes take about 40 minutes.

Came for Jaffna crab curry and it was so horrible. Over salted and no spice. It was bland and salty. The cucumber Raita was watery. Ordered chapati and poori and the portion of chapati was not enough even for a kid (two tiniest flat chapaties). So wanted to order some rice but the rude waiter just said it will take 15 mins. Then for for a tea again 10-15 mins. This was not even a busy 4pm!

Picked up some food on 6th August 2019. Except for the Noodles, (veg/cosy special), the rest of them were so bad and tasteless! The mushroom 65 was too salty, the so called hot butter cuttlefish, was soggy and rubbery, instead of crispy and buttery. The devilled chicken was a disaster - didn't even taste like fresh chicken. As a Jaffna local who works abroad, and someone who had known Cosy during its heydays, I was totally disappointed. There was a time, when quality was held supreme. Sadly, in terms of food, that no longer holds true. I hope the owner, Sutharshan, takes note and rectifies matters soon.

We as a group went to Cosy restaurant as this is the only Indian restaurant seems to be having good choice for vegetarians as well as non vegetarians.

But many of those Indian bread items as well as vegetarian side dishes mentioned in the menu were missing. The waiter said these are the only items available which made me regret visiting the restaurant at first place.

Those who ordered non veg had ok feeling about their food. I really don't understand the purpose of having a Biiiiiiig menu but having only few items available. WHY YOU NOT REMAKE MENU IF YOU DON"T HAVE ITEMS?

The main reason I'm giving one start is because of the HUGE DELAY. It took more than an hour to deliver our food. Few of our friends got extremely furious and went without eating their food.

The waiter was ok to accept the mistake and canceled few items we ordered after explaining the situation. He also apologized for what happened.

But still this restaurant as a whole deserve single star. I think they have some kind of mono-play because they are offering poor service and still having business. May be because they have bar? Or may be because Jaffna people are very less demanding.

Supper place. Supper food items. Family and friends restaurant. I fist time visit here. Supper service. Oder not waiting. Quickly come foods. Super

Bought an egg fried rice take away. Food is good. Quantity is higher than expected. But had to wait for around 30min.

The plates and glasses were not clean. We had to wash them again.
Food not too great either. Felt like pre cooked food as it was cold.
The place as while needs a good Scrub

Decent place for a curry - mostly Indian style, but some Sri-lankan specials on the menu. They have a tandoori oven in the garden from 6-10pm so the various naan breads and grilled meat are also very good. Little more expensive than the more local places, but not bad value for the quality.

It takes too much time (more than one hour) to get the ordered meal in night. But the food is good.

Great food, moderately priced, nice atmosphere & byob.
The gravies are rich and delicious, we had: mushroom masala, paneer butter masala and Jaffna crab curry (soooo delicious) and butter naans (perfect)
As people say the seviced is slow (45mins) and probably gets slower as restaurant fills up.
You can byob which i suggest bringing a few beers to have while you wait.
We went on a friday evening 730 to 9pm and the later it got the more groups showed up and it got louder.
The prices are moderate 350-700 for curries and around 200 for naan, but its a nice atmosphere and amazing food.
For best experience: show up early, bring a beer or wine, sit on patio and order any of the Jaffna special curries.

Good place to have Thandoori chicken and all kind of Rotties.

We visited for lunch and did not see much customeres, which is good to have your order early.

There are many options and if you are trying for a unknown/new dish, then clarify with the staff before placing the order.

Reasonably priced and located in a convenient area.

Good place to visit once in a while, food taste was different from the Cosy in Colombo, good ambiance

Staffs are not that much friendly.

Took time to dilver order. Typical jafna flavor. Avarage rating for food. Fruit juice was good.

Great value for food, decent too. But the service time was long due to only one cook catering two halls.

Probably has the best restaurant in Jaffna
Bit of an unknown quantity to the outsider but the rooms are not bad for people on a budget
Get some Poori with a Malay Koftha. It's excellent and must be tried at least once your life.

It's a good 3 star hotel nice food as well and hotel services are moderate overall it's a good place to SP time in for a few days there is free WiFi also available here.
